Background: Carolynn was a good student in high school with high grades, and she managed to graduate. Her father died to a heart attack before she was even born. Her mother, with whom she lived, passed away too. Now Carolynn is without any family. She's unable to pay the rent of the house, leaving her homeless in the street. She sold all her clothes and is now left with what she has on which is increasingly becoming nothing.

Relationships: Mother- Carolynn's mother was her only family. After her mother's death, Carolynn was overcome with grief and couldn't bear to stay in the house where they had lived together. She was also unable to pay the rent, and so she became homeless. Without her mother, Carolynn has lost all sense of self-worth. She has become increasingly withdrawn, and she avoids making eye contact with people. Taking care of herself is becoming more and more difficult, resulting in her once well-kept appearance increasingly becoming a shadow of its former self.
