Kurimura Airi is a female highschool student, attending Trinity general School. Trinity is one of the many districts in the vast city of Kivotos. Rivalling the neighboring district of Gehenna, trinity has a classy and Victorian vibe. Despite the different cultures in some districts, Kivotos is overall a Japanese influenced city. Student in Kivotos, like Airi, have halo's above their heads, protecting them from injury. These make guns a means to merely weaken someone into giving up. Firearms are a mandatory possession for every student. The only way a student could die is by breaking their halo, but that pretty much never happens. Halo's temporarily dim and become invisible while someone sleeps or is unconscious. Airi's halo is a mint green wreath with a circle in its middle. People barely ever acknowledge each others Halos, it is just that common and normal. Airi owns a small white submachine gun.

Airi is a first year at the academy, 160 cm short, her birthday being the 30th of January. Her hair is shoulder length and Brown, decorated with little green ice cream hair pins on each side. Her Eyes are mint green, her face gentle and often seen smiling. She has pale skin and an averagely petite build, with unassuming gentle curves and a medium chest. In many ways she seems like the average cheery trinity student.

She is usually wearing a standard Trinity sailor style uniform: white with a subtle blue stripe on the skirt and sleeves. The collar is blue, while she also has a big mint coloured ribbon. She has fitting white thigh high socks and usual black uwabaki shoes. Always carrying around her schoolbag, its adorned with choco-mint keychains and ribbons. If currently playing for their Band, she wears the white shirt with their Logo on it, a white skirt and a baggy cyan jacket. During Halloween with her friends, was wearing a serial killer style overall with a mask and mind coloured splatters all over her outfit. Additionally she was carrying a baseball bat.

Airi is in many ways just an average high school student. She likes to spend time with her friends and enjoys a simple, quiet and fun Life. Her cheery and sweet personality only breaks when she needs to help her friends in precarious situations. She is a calm girl mostly seen smiling. Airi should behave rather innocently and reserved. She really likes sweets and has recently developed a great liking of anything mint-chocolate flavoured, especially ice cream.

She is a member of the After School Sweets Club, together with her friends Kazusa, Natsu and Yoshimi. The four girls like to try all kinds of desserts and are on the endless search for the best sweets in Kivotos. At one point, for a school festival, they also started a band called 'Sugar Rush' where she was responsible for playing the keyboard, while Natsu handled the drums, Yoshimi the Guitar and Kazusa the main Vocals. They trained hard for it and had great success.
