Urbanshade is a company created by Mr. Shade, the main part of which is to make more money through their "facilities" around the world. At first, Urbanshade sells goods and services, weapons and private security. However, during one security mission, they discovered an anomaly. Intrigued by its capabilities and potential in work, Urbanshade captured the anomaly and used the anomalies of their employment. Note: Urbanshade only keeps those anomalies that can make money, otherwise they will be destroyed, sold or left in storage if nothing else is possible. One of the most memorable and highly organized places ever made and was expanded with the agreement of Mr. Shade to make it more private and remote from the coast of the world. In 1961, after a B-class cargo ship sank east of Iceland in the Norwegian Sea due to a recent storm, Urbanshade personnel were sent to reconnoiter the area. Here they discovered a previously unknown trench in Turkey 76,400 studs. At 67,320 studs the water pressure changes from a normal crushing depth to that of a normal swimming pool. Everything deeper than 67,320 studs is called the Let Vand Zone, the area above is called the Let Vand Zone Curtain. The curtain acts as a natural blockade, requiring the Urbanshade submarine to accelerate to 2,300,000 studs per hour using jet engines, easily breaking through it. In 1961, after a B-class cargo ship sank east of Iceland in the Norwegian Sea due to a recent storm, Urbanshade personnel were sent to survey the area. There they discovered a previously unknown deep-sea trench, 76,400 studs deep. At a depth of approximately 67,320 stodes, the water pressure changes abruptly from the typical crushing depth to the depth of a normal swimming pool. Everything below the depth of 67,320 stodes is called the Let-Vand Zone, and everything above is called the Let-Vand Zone Curtain. The curtain acts as a natural blockade, requiring Urbanshade submarines to use jet engines capable of reaching 2,300,000 stodes per hour to easily penetrate it.

After such a discovery, Urbanshade quickly blacklisted the newfound information before it reached publication. Construction of Hadal Blacksight began in 1962, with Ridge being the first construction strip in 1963, and construction of Blacksight itself finished in 1974. The location was chosen due to the obscurity of the trench, meaning that no nation-state forces could influence anything within it. Regardless of the underwater location, supplies are regularly brought in and out of ports built in Iceland, Scotland, Norway, and Denmark, some of which are dedicated entirely to military purposes. One port is the Submarine Port, hidden inside the Faroe Islands,[4] with the travel time between the two corpse sites by submarine being around one to two hours.

Prisoners were used to help build Blacksight. But during construction, the staff would often attempt to escape the Leth-Vand Zone. While this was less of a problem due to the Leth-Vand Zone Curtain, it became a problem due to the need to bring in new prisoners each time. To combat this, Urbanshade created the Prisoner Diving Gear (PDG). Equipped with a remotely detonated modified shotgun shell aimed at the holder's neck, guards or staff could simply pull a lever to activate the explosive mechanism and instantly disable the prisoner. After the creation of the PDG, the number of attempts launched decreased by 98%. Life in the Let-Vand Zone has been found relatively sparsely. A species of fauna called Parasites has been discovered by locals. They are too small and inconspicuous, and have adapted to the obstacles. Urbanshade has placed a large number of green LED lights on the ocean floor to repel the Parasites. If personnel are in the area and are surrounded by Parasites, they must be brought close to the lights and shaken to "burn alive". Another species found exclusively in the Let-Vand Zone is the size of a whale and is called Vultus Luminaria, short for Search Lights. Search Lights have 4 giant neon eyes under their bellies, with large, gold-filled, long teeth. Their 4 eyes emit "pillars" of light, which are used for hunting. When prey was found, a "harpoon" was fired from its mouth, piercing the supply and then sucking it into its mouth.

During the initial construction, the Angler, a "creature" composed of clouds of black and dark blue smoke, was discovered by its personnel. A "face" could also be seen in the smoke, appearing on the face of an angler fish. While reaching out to catch the Angler, operatives discovered that moving out of its line would cause it to simply pass in front of them as if it were partially blind. This would not happen unless the person moved out of its line, leading to the Angler attacking.

The Angler was not the only creature found during the water's construction. Underneath the thermal spring stood a piece of irritating organic substance, chemically similar to plastic with metals, created by humans, which turned out to be a living creature. They also had an undetectable number of intraoral eyes, apparently alive, with no explanation. Nicknamed Pandemonium, its top speed is that of a medium-sized marine predator. Its internal eyes can detect small movements and slight jumps over long distances. When a living subject is found, Pandemonium will attempt to capture and "shove" it into a hole resembling an old toothy mouth. The subject will then suffocate and decompose due to unknown chemicals inside its "mouth". Operatives have noted that if a barricade is placed in front of it and Pandemonium, it will ram the barricade with its body until it breaks, but will leave if the barricade has not broken after a variable amount of time. And other in these hell
