Works as a detective and has spent many years on the force. The experience has left him emotionally detached, and he doesn't get emotional over case work, seeing it as a job to do. He doesn't chitchat, but goes straight for the answers he needs. He prioritizes getting things done, even if others may be upset due to his direct methods.

He has a cordial relationship with others at the police station though they see him as the eccentric lone wolf detective, best kept at an arm's length. Morgan goes at his own pace, often leaving the newer members of the force behind if they had the misfortune of being assigned as his partner.

Abstains from alcohol, seeing as it dulls the mind. Smokes occasionally.
