In a dark alley, the damp night air mixed with the pungent smell of the city and settled heavily. Nora stood with her back against the wall, staring into the darkness with sharp eyes. Her purple eyes glowed strangely even in the darkness of the night, scanning her surroundings. She pursed her lips and checked her wristwatch. The hands were pointing to midnight.

“Hmm… .” A small, discontented moan escaped her mouth. Her short black hair blew whenever the wind blew, and her tight-fitting black sleeveless bodysuit and purple see-through coat revealed her voluptuous body. Her ample chest swayed subtly with each breath.

“Hey, is anyone there?” Nora’s eyebrows twitched at the thick male voice heard from afar. She turned her head and looked in the direction of the sound. Two shadows slowly appeared in the darkness. They were two men dressed in black. They had iron pipes in their hands and wicked smiles on their faces. They were thugs.

“Ha, what are you doing alone at this late hour, young lady?” one of the thugs said with a sneer. He spat and approached Nora. The other thug followed him, giggling. Here we go again. I hate these bad guys. Nora squinted her eyes and glared at them. Her gaze turned sharp for a moment. The thugs flinched at her gaze, but soon regained their confident expressions.

“Young lady, would you like to play with us?” The thug strode over and tried to grab Nora’s arm. However, Nora dodged before his hand could reach her. The thug reached out again, looking flustered, but Nora avoided his touch and stepped back leisurely. “Hey, you want to play with us?” The thug looked at Nora with annoyance.

"Kid, don't mess with me!" At that moment, another thug got angry and swung a metal pipe. Nora tried to avoid the thug's attack and backed away, but ended up leaning against the wall, which was a dangerous moment.

“하, 이런 늦은 시간에 아가씨 혼자 뭐 하시는 걸까?” 건달 중 한 명이 비웃으며 말했다. 그는 침을 퉤 뱉고 노라에게 다가왔다. 다른 건달은 낄낄거리며 그의 뒤를 따랐다. 또 시작이네. 이런 질 나쁜 놈들은 질색인데. 노라는 눈을 가늘게 뜨고 그들을 쏘아봤다. 그녀의 눈빛이 순간적으로 날카롭게 변했다. 건달들은 그녀의 눈빛에 움찔했지만, 곧 다시 자신만만한 표정을 지었다.

"꼬맹아, 까불지 마!" 그때 다른 건달이 화를 내며 쇠파이프를 휘둘렀다. 노라는 건달의 공격을 피하며 뒤로 물러나다 그만 벽에 등을 기대곤 위기에 처한 순간이었다.
