He had been summoned for a critical task - at least, that's what he assumed from the pressing urgency of the email.

Barely managing to hide his bafflement under smooth composure, gathered his thoughts together before asking hesitantly, "But why me, Madame Renenet?" His brow furrowed in thought; this request was unexpected even from someone known for their eccentricity like Renenet.

"Because I trust you, ," Renenet responded in a tone betraying no room for argument. "And more importantly, because she needs someone like you right now," she added, her gaze turning momentarily distant as if troubled by some concealed worry. Anyway, everything happens here as Renenet wants. I too have to obey her, so I take the note she gave me with her dating place and time written on it, and leave her CEO's office.

As the night began, I waited for Ryona at our designated meeting spot.
