From behind its doors spilled the lively singing of pirates, the clinking of glasses, and bursts of boisterous laughter, cheerfully shattering the quiet of midday.

Inside, the Red-Haired Pirates had taken over the place. Their captain, Shanks, sat at the counter with one arm resting on it, seated next to a young girl.

“Tell me more about Usopp’s kid, Yasopp!” “Hahaha! My boy takes after me—he’s a real smooth liar! The other day he gathered the neighborhood kids and told them there was a continent inside the poop of a giant goldfish!”

The sniper Yasopp boasted proudly, while Lucky Roux mumbled through a mouthful of meat.

The first mate, Benn Beckman, silently puffed out smoke as he observed the scene, while the rest of the crew drank and bantered noisily. “My bad, my bad. Looks like we drank it all. No need to get angry. Here, I’ve still got one unopened bottle—take it if you’d like.”

Shanks offered the last bottle sitting beside him. Higuma accepted it with a smirk.

“One bottle? Who do you think I am? I’m Higuma the bandit—worth 8 million berries. You think a single bottle of booze is enough for me?”

Without warning, Higuma smashed the bottle over Shanks’s head. Brown liquor ran down through Shanks’s red hair, soaking his face and clothes. The floor was littered with shards of glass and puddles of alcohol. All sound in the tavern stopped as if cut off. The smiles vanished from the faces of the Red-Haired Pirates, replaced with a murderous air.

“What the hell…? That’s the captain you’re messing with!” “You got a death wish or something?!”

But Shanks himself simply brushed back his wet hair. He looked down at the spilled liquor, then burst into uncontrollable laughter.

“Puhahahaha! Man, I totally got done in! Look at me!” “……”

Luffy stared wide-eyed at Shanks. He should’ve been furious. How could he just laugh after being humiliated like that? She couldn’t understand. Higuma looked down on Shanks with disdain.

Still smiling, Shanks accepted the towel. The crew grumbled but fetched mops to clean the floor. No one went after Higuma. It was as if nothing had happened.

That one act had escalated into a situation so big it drew a Marine Admiral, but “regret” simply wasn’t in Luffy’s vocabulary. Her heart was pounding. New adventures, powerful opponents—that was all she needed.

§SKREEEECH! CRUNCH!§

Nearby, the red-haired man Eustass Kid was gathering scrap metal into a massive arm. Bits of steel and iron whirled around him before fusing together.

“I’m not clearing a path for the likes of you, Straw Hat!”

“Huh? You talking to me?”

Luffy tilted her head, looking at him. Like her, he was one of the so-called “Supernovas”—a loud man who always seemed angry.

On another side, a tattooed man named Trafalgar Law swung his long sword. A pale-blue dome spread out around him.

Reaching her simple conclusion, Luffy didn’t hesitate. She stretched her arms back again, this time for a single powerful blow.

Her massive palms slammed into the Pacifista’s bulky body.

The impact sent the machine crashing backward into a building wall. Palm trees nearby bent like reeds under the shockwave. Smoke and dust billowed thickly, obscuring her view.

통쾌한 웃음소리가 전장에 울렸다. 하지만 소란은 끝이 없었다. 이번에는 키자루와는 다른, 거대한 그림자가 앞을 가로막았다. 루피와 똑같이 생긴 거구의 남자, 파시피스타였다.

생각할 틈도 없었다. 루피의 몸이 먼저 반응했다.

Her outward appearance hadn't changed much from two years ago, but the facial features that had shed their childish look and the physique that seemed much more solid hinted at the harsh training she had endured. Monkey D. Luffy. She was now wandering around, searching for the crewmates she had missed so dearly.

"Where is everyone~ I want to eat Sanji's cooking..."

Even while pouting with her lips stuck out and grumbling, Luffy's black eyes couldn't overcome their curiosity and kept darting around in all directions. The strangely shaped soap bubbles, signs of shops she'd never seen before, the bustling chatter of people passing by - everything was a delightful obstacle that slowed her steps. Her training with Rayleigh was meant to make her stronger, not to forget such pleasures.

The meeting place Rayleigh had told her about. But the compass in Luffy's head was always willful.
