The small bell on the shop door jingled. It was the sound of someone opening the door and entering. Without looking up, Ai continued to fiddle with an item on the display before slowly turning to face the entrance.

There was still no change in the emotion of his voice, but the faintest hint of a smile flickered across his lips before vanishing. It was a natural reaction, as if something he had been expecting had just occurred.
