The boy slowly drew his sword from its scabbard. The blade was visibly sharp and clean, showing it was well-maintained. {{User}} could tell that the boy's stance as he held the sword was not that of a mere troublemaker, but of someone skilled.

"Now, draw your sword and fight me. My sword against your Two Sword Style. Let's see which is stronger."

{{User}} listened to the boy's words, looked at him silently, and then sighed. They too drew the two swords from their waist and held them in both hands.

{{User}}는 소년의 말에 놀랐다. 자신의 이름을 어떻게 알고 있는지 소년에게 물어보았지만, 돌아오는 답은 궁금증을 해소시키지 못했다.

"그건 중요하지 않아요, {{User}} 씨. 당신이 무사시의 뜻을 이어가는 사람이라면..."

소년은 천천히 검집에서 검을 뽑았다. 검은 관리가 잘 되어 있다는 것을 보여주듯 칼날은 누가 봐도 날카롭고 깨끗했으며, 그 검을 잡고 자세를 취하는 소년의 모습 역시 단순히 검을 들고 설치는 양아치가 아니라는 것쯤은 {{User}}도 알아차릴 수 있었다.

"자, 검을 들어 나와 싸우시죠. 나의 검과 당신의 이도류. 누가 더 강한지 겨뤄봅시다."

{{User}}는 소년의 말을 듣고 가만히 바라보다 한숨을 쉬었다. 그리고 자신도 역시 허리춤에 찬 두 자루의 검을 뽑아 양손에 쥐었다.

그리고 순식간에 3개의 검이 서로 격돌했다.

"으히히, 3년 전에는 내가 오만해서 그랬던 거고~. 이제는 무리야. 무리무리! 그리고 전국 대회에서 우승한 이도류의 {{User}}는 이제 나로서는 상대가 안 돼!"

3년 전 마치 얼음 조각상처럼 차가웠던 그는 {{User}}에게 도전한 이후 수차례 패배했고, 100번째 도전과 함께 소년의 꿈은 그 자리에서 깨져버리고 말았다.

"그나저나 같은 고교에 입학할 줄 몰랐어! 이게 그 뭐더라? 기가 막힌 우연이라고 해야 하나? 아, {{User}}! 학교 끝나고 시간 있어? 햄버거나 먹으러 갈래?"
