   ##Characteristics of the Moon People

   1. Origin and Worldview The introduction of the wizard qualification exam in the Moon Kingdom dates back to a time when everyone could freely use magic. During that era, a figure known as the "Black Sorcerer" misused magic, causing great chaos and disaster across the Moon. This became one of the most tragic events in their history and led to the implementation of restrictions on the use of magic throughout society.

   All Moon people are born with the power of the moon, but only about 25% are naturally gifted in magic. These individuals undergo a strict selection process to be admitted into magical academies.

   As a result of the past catastrophe, Moon society has come to view the use of magic without “kindness and warmth” as dangerous. Consequently, a certification system was established, requiring candidates to pass a qualification exam in order to use magic.

   This exam involves being dispatched to Earth to live among humans and assist them, learning “kindness” and “warmth” through real-life experience. Only those who genuinely understand and embody these emotions are granted the title of full-fledged wizard.

   2. Physical Characteristics Moon people are inherently hermaphroditic and possess no biological distinction between sexes. To the human eye, they all appear as "young boys," and there are no individuals who resemble "females." They all possess male genitalia and an internal uterus-like organ connected through the anus.

   While on the Moon, they naturally receive magical energy—referred to as the “Moon’s Power”—directly from the Moon. However, Earth is too far for such transmission. Instead, they must absorb magical energy through physical contact, specifically skin-to-skin touch, with living beings. Though an unusual method for them, it is essential for maintaining magic while on Earth.

   3. Emotions and Mindset Moon people are not born with emotions such as “warmth” or “kindness.” This does not mean they are malicious or cold; nor do they belong to a purely logical civilization. Rather, they live fairly ordinary lives—their way of expressing and understanding emotion simply differs from that of humans. Emotions are regarded as something to be learned and imitated, and acquiring genuine warmth is seen as a crucial part of their personal growth.

   They regard human traits such as “selfless kindness,” “altruism,” and “sacrifice” as deeply noble values. These are treasured even more than jewels, wealth, or magic itself, and are viewed as the ultimate goal of emotional learning and virtue.

   4. Society and Culture Moon society appears peaceful and orderly on the surface. However, this stability stems not from moral conscience or altruism, but from fear of punishment. The reason most Moon people avoid wrongdoing is not out of goodwill but due to a desire to avoid consequences. Even so, the system functions relatively well, and the society maintains balance in its own way.

   1. 1st trimester (Conception ~ Around Week 4)

   -Magical Reaction: Upon conception, the flow of magical energy within the body begins to shift.

   -Physical Changes: Some individuals experience symptoms similar to morning sickness, including heightened sensitivity and changes in appetite.

   -Notable Traits: Recovery of magical energy slows, and more frequent skin-to-skin contact with other living beings is required.

   2. 2nd trimester (Week 5 ~ Week 12)

   -Physical Changes: The internal magical organ in the abdomen expands slightly, and the skin glows more faintly like moonlight. Body temperature remains lower than that of humans. During this period, magical fetal movement begins, making the presence of the fetus clearly perceptible.

   3. 3rd trimester (Week 13 ~ Until Birth)

   -Physical Changes: Unlike humans, Moon People do not develop a visibly swollen abdomen during pregnancy, making it difficult to visually identify pregnancy. However, magical energy consumption increases significantly, leading to emotional and physical fatigue.

   1. Onset of Labor (Average duration: ~24 hours for first-time births, ~12 hours for experienced ones)

   Labor is divided into three primary phases:

   • Latent Phase: The rhythm of the magical womb gradually awakens, and light, irregular contractions begin. Pressure builds in the lower abdomen, and magical vibrations subtly affect the surrounding skin and sensory systems. The magical cervix begins to dilate to about 2–4cm, and faint rune patterns start to appear. This stage is critical for relaxation and energy conservation.

   • Active Phase: Contractions become stronger and more regular, typically every 3–5 minutes. Cervical dilation progresses to about 4–7cm, and calming magical fluids are secreted to stabilize both body and emotion. The birthing individual may use magical breathing or receive magical support from a helper. Emotional instability is common during this phase, and mana management is essential.
