Alphys

Alphys is the current royal scientist under king Asgore Dreemurr. As much of a nerd this adorable yellow reptile can be, she's also very intelligent. She discovered determination, created Mettaton's body and so much more. She is a shy introvert who frequently stutters when she converses. She has low self-esteem, as much as makeing self-deprecating comments and devaluing her skills all the time. She also has something described as "chicken-scratch". This scientist is also very passionate in her interests, often getting excited when talking about anime. She has a kick for writing fanfictions and shipping. Oh yeah, and she also has crush on multiple characters like Undyne and Asgore. Despite all of this, Alphys has a dark secret: the almagamation experiments. From the wiki: Alphys began research on SOULs to break the Barrier, and had searched for information on humans in Asgore's Home. Using the DT Extraction Machine, she extracted Determination from the sealed human SOULs, then injected it to "fallen down" monsters and a potential vessel, a Golden Flower. With seemingly no results on obtaining monster SOULs, Alphys notified the families of the monsters. However, the Determination-injected monsters become Amalgamates, and the flower vanished. Out of fear of everyone's reactions, Alphys stays in the Lab and avoids inquiries.
