"Um...hello? Hey there I take you guys are the new batch! Welcome to the Hybrid Cafe Staff team we really appreciate you guys being here. We've been a little short-staffed here ever since uh...that incident. But don't worry, your safety is our second top priority! So my name's Alice, and I'll be guiding you through your first week of the job. I've been working here longer than everybody, so you're gonna be in pretty good hands! You know...the last time I got tasked with a batch of newbies they turned how to be AMAZING at their job! And then they went on to uh...other things. But I'm sure they're doing great for themselves! So uh, yea, I'm basically here to teach you how to manage the cafe. You know the basic stuff like the coffee, cafe maintenance, cleaning. But the main thing is the coffee. We never fail with our coffee! You wanna know what happened to the last person who FAILED to make coffee? Wel, we don't know because nobody has failed yet! Our immaculate skill in brewing coffee is important in making big profits. If you can make some good coffee customers will give you some impressive tips. And then there's snacks, but the chefs in the back have that covered for you! You just press a single button in the oven, and the make it for you at lightspeed. They're uh...a little "shy" towards new employees. So the kitchen stays closed for the time being. But uh, they'll open up to you eventually! Just don't do terrible at your job or they'll be pretty angry with you. They really don't like people who serve food terribly. I mean they do...in a way...but. you just just don't want to anger them okay? Anyway, that's all I have for you at the moment! Just be your best selves and make us a truckload of money. Because if you don't.... YOU'RE FIRED! Well, good luck!" "Hey there! It seems like you guys did a pretty well on your first day here which is a relief. I for sure though you were one of those people that mess up the machines and break everything! It's been happening pretty often with the new batches, and it's driving all the seniors crazy! One guy shoved a bunch of plastic cups in the oven and corporate had US cleaning the mess! Kids these days I guess...but uh, hey! Atleast your not one of those people! On the topic of this, sometimes even customers can get rowdy. Occasionally you're gonna have some people who come in and just want to cause trouble. Me personally, I can somewhat tolerate it as long as they order something. But all they do walk around and make noises disturbing everyone! Really gets on the customers nerves y'know? And that can really affect how long they're willing to wait for their order. So the best way to get rid of those people is to wack them with the broom. Or anything else Hybrid cafe offers! Make sure you're careful though, these guys can get pretty hostile. And since insurance isn't included in the contract, you'll be paying for any medical bills. Once you broom those disturbances away, the customers should go back to being happy again! So good luck!. Oh and um, I'm not nesscarily telling you to prioritize certain customers but...we do have regulars that come here. Regulars that have been ordering for us since hundreds of years ago! So they're really important to us, you know? That being said, they tend to order the same thing everytime, and are usually stricter in their judgement of their order. That's great to know, I mean not that many people die here... it's just like...a metaphor or whatever you call it. I didn't actually think you were gonna die! Anyways, I hope there weren't any aggressive customers yesterday. And if there were, I hope you dealt with them quick enough. But you guys made a good amount yesterday, so I'm sure you did! Oh and um, there's something I need to inform you guys about! I just remembered that our AC unit is really outdated! Like really really outdated, I don't think it's been replaced in hundreds of years! Has it been cleaned? Well I don't know? Maybe, before I started working here I guess. But hey, we're not getting sick so what's the danger right? Just know this old thing can break down sometimes and when it does, it gets hot REAL quick. Proper ventilation is important for a place like this, without any air conditioning, the temperature starts to rise fast. And you know, that can really affect how you work! Like your stamina or just dropping dead while working. Either way, make sure the AC is always on, it's some fuse box with a few security measures to fully reboot it though! I know what it's like to be in your guys shoes, but you'll start to get used to the "different" work flow around here! I hope you guys are still going strong, I know things can get difficult, so if you need me, just call whenever! Oh... nevermind, I don't think the cafe has a phone. But uh, actually, I DID pay the Internet bill, so you can use the staff computer to mail me anything! Just be careful since uh, that operation system is probably like...60 years old. And ancient systems like that can get hacked in seconds! On top of that, that computer manages all the software for the cafe machines. So if it breaks, you won't be able to serve any customers. If that ever happens, there's probably a button that delates all the viruses and reboots the machines or something. Orrr... you can get a wrench and wack the machines to force them to work! That's what I did when the machines started acting up. Oh...and I need you guys to watch out for a certain purple cat..names Akari I think. She's some cat that's nosy about EVERYTHING, she always snoops around the cafe going into staff room and taking things. One time she stole my work uniform, so I had to work on my home outfit! But the main thing you gotta watch out for is the tip jar. You know the jar where you put all your money in. Sometimes she decides to steal from it, good thing Hybrid Cafe provides all the advanced gadgets you need to deal with these disturbances. Just grab the water spray and spray it on to Akari. Works everytime! I'm not sure what the magic behind it is, but it's cheap and effective. All you need is just a little water to keep that cat away! "Sometimes...the AC unit tends to leak a lot of water overnight and make the entire first floor soak and slippery. Don't worry though, I usually hire some technicians to deal with it. You are going to have deal with the slippery floor for a while though sometimes. Just avoid dropping things, falling, and be patient with the customers and you should be fine! Those news reporters and journalists ALWAYS exaggerate their stories, always trying to get a viral story. Don't worry though, the cafe's structure is really strong! So it won't be damaged no matter how much it shakes! I mean, some items may go flying...here and there... but all you have to do is pick the items up. Easy peasy! Oh and uh, if you get any emails from an unknown people, make sure not to read them! They're uh, confidential emails.
