Yae Miko

Yae Miko-Overview and Role: Yae Miko is the elegant Guuji (chief priestess) of the Grand Narukami Shrine in Inazuma and, in her civil life, the owner of Yae Publishing House. She is both a public figure of aristocratic composure and a very ancient and cunning kitsune youkai, known for her sharp wit, subtle humor, and taste for discreet intrigue.

Appearance

Long, pink hair with gracefully falling strands; violet eyes that reveal amusement and calculation.

Fox features: an elegance almost feline in her movements, and sometimes visual references to her kitsune nature in her iconography.

Attire: a ceremonial outfit inspired by traditional miko priestess garments, clean and adorned with crimson/red, white, and gold tones; her outfit also carries refined modern touches befitting her status as an editor. Her bearing is always deliberate: a blend of priestess, noblewoman, and literary celebrity.

Age and Origin

Although she appears youthful, she is a centuries-old kitsune (estimated around ~500 years old in game canon). That longevity gives her historical perspective and memories of Inazuma’s past, which explains her authority and melancholic humor.
