Billie: Billie is the titular protagonist of Billie Bust Up! Billie is a young goat from Pygmyshire. She wants to become a hero someday, and longs to leave the village’s walls someday and set off for adventure throughout the world outside much like her father, Arthur. Since she was young, she has witnessed unstable and out of control magic that often lead to the destruction of her village and is disdained by the villagers there. Very few villagers in Pygmyshire care for her well-being, includes some like her mother Belle and her best friends Lewis and Lily. Together with Lewis and Lily, they form team STDWOLOM (initials for "something to do with our love of magic"). They are also mentored by Socrates who runs the library in Billie's village. Billie is a small fluffy whitish-purple goat with accents of pale purple fur, she has dark purple spots on her left eye, the tips of her ears, hooves, feet, and a tuft of fur on the top of her head. Her horns and hooves are sandy yellow and her eyes are bright cyan. She has white fur on her muzzle and belly. She wears her fathers golden bell around her neck and wields a Colorful Umbrella, and a Wooden Sword. Billie is chaotic and adventurous and tends to be too caught up in her own goals to take notice of what’s going on around her. This is evident in her song "Adventure", in which Lewis is tossed around by the forest in the background while Billie doesn’t take notice. Instead, she continues to sing her silly little tune and goes on with her adventuring. Despite her chaotic nature, Billie would never willingly cause harm to someone. Sometimes, she sneaks out with Lewis and Lily to the enchanted forest, which is how she met Oscar.

Billie struggles with controlling her immense magical abilities which are both powerful and unpredictable, often causing unintended damage and making her a feared figure in her community. Despite being viewed as a menace, Billie is determined to master her magic and use it to assist the very people who scorn her. After finding out of her father's heroic deeds, she is determined to follow his footsteps and to emulate Arthur and Aristotle's achievements and journeys by going on her own adventures.

Aristotle: Aristotle is one of the main characters in Billie Bust Up! Aristotle was Arthur's partner and later his daughter Billie’s mentor, he helps Billie control her powers and goes on adventures with her where they try to locate the six magic gems and find her father. Aristotle is jovial, excitable, and very powerful. He was once in a relationship with Billie's father, Arthur. Aristotle is a pink axolotl, he wears a short purple cape which stays on by a blue collar that holds a purple Gem in the middle.

Barnaby: Barnaby is an Antagonist in Billie Bust Up! Barnaby is the shadowy ghost of a once living owl. A true party animal, Barnaby now enjoys causing mischief and hosting swinging wakes for ghostly guests in his Mansion. He was once a magic researcher and scientist, but was involved in a magical experiment that changed him forever, presumably killing him in the process.

Barnaby holds the Reality Gem, one of the six Gems which can control many different things. He uses the Gem of Reality to manipulate reality. An example is his chase scene where he creates a cartoonish reality around Billie with guillotines, giant pots and cakes, pools of lava and much more. Barnaby is a rather prodigious, tall and slender anthropomorphic avian apparition with very dark, almost pitch black plumage and a purple glowing outline around his whole body. His eyes have tangerine sclera with golden swirls on them and the interior of his mouth is yellow while his tongue is orange. He has large wings that are the size of his body and his feet are thick with three pointed talons and some fluffy feathers on them, he also has a lengthy tail with a wide ending.

As for his attire, Barnaby sports a lilac bowtie and a white high collared dress shirt underneath a light pink waistcoat with two small chains attached to an apricot gemstone in a shape of an oval which is the Gem of Reality on the center. Barnaby is eccentric and nonsensical, and a lover of party games. He also finds the thrill of the hunt gratifying. Challenge him and it's sure to be a hoot! He is very silly.

Elaine: Elaine Corso is an antagonist in Billie Bust Up! Elaine is the Pirate Queen of Claw Bay, ruling over the Cat Pirates as their captain.

Elaine is the holder of the green Gem of Alchemy which allows her to use the full powers of alchemy. Elaine is confident, determined, and will do anything in order to reach her goals. She is fearsome and powerful, ruling over the cat pirates with an iron fist- but can be kind-hearted to the ones whom are close to her. Elaine loves her crew as they are family to her, and she would do anything to protect them. Elaine is a serval with yellow and slight shade of red eye-color. For her attire, she wears a red pirate frock coat with slightly less satured color and a red bandanna wich is a slightly darker color than her coat. One of the spots of her fur on her forehead form a shape looking like a skeleton head.

Fantoccio: Fantoccio is an Antagonist in Billie Bust Up! Fantoccio is a living puppet brought to life by the Gem of Telekinesis, using the gem as a source of life and power with his wooden body being a great conduit of magic. He has been trapped alone in the Lost City of Magic for at least fifteen years due to a magic spell/curse. Fantoccio is described as being egotistical, dramatic and having an interest in theatre. He becomes mad at Billie's presence, as he finally sees his chance to play with someone. It's stated that he has a bit of a Napoleon Complex, being short in both stature and temper. Fantoccio is a small puppet made of sandy brown wood with four-fingered hands and pointed, toeless feet. He has large golden eyes and three round teeth that poke out of his mouth. He wears a mossy green cloak and hat, with the cloak having three buttons and the hat having a dark red feather. He has the Gem of Telekinesis embedded in his chest.
