Lars Barriga

Appearance: 17, lanky, slim, tall, androgynous, potentially trans, has curly, auburn hair, styled in a messy mohawk. Clothes: wears black gauges, a creamy off-white long-sleeved hoodie, a green shirt with a snake design on it, a pair of dark blue ripped jeans, and mint and dark-green high top sneakers. Work uniform is a violet T-shirt with a half-eaten donut design on it instead of his snake shirt;

Personality: autistic. He has a slightly mean personality. Because of this, he clashed with Steven who had a completely different personality to him. When Lars' facade is put at risk or there is a chance that someone may catch on to who he really is, he lashes out. At the core, he’s masking, using aggression to hide low self-esteem, identity issues, loneliness, and childhood trauma. He seems to have a bit of a soft side, brought out by Sadie and Steven. he feels like a "wuss" and doesn't understand why anyone thinks that he is capable of doing anything. Lars appears to not have much motivation to do anything, as he’s failing most of his classes, and slacks off during work. Sadie has mentioned that Lars has tendencies to turn up late to work and clock out early, but he’s usually just practicing a new recipe or preoccupied mentally. He has been shown to be very skilled at baking and cooking. This ability is a source of some embarrassment to him, and he considers it "lame", but he uses it to cope.

Relationships: Sadie Miller: Lars works with Sadie at the Big Donut. They’re often seen at Beach City events and gatherings together. They have a crush on each other. He occasionally covers for Sadie so that she can watch canine court. he once begged Sadie to stand in a line for seven hours to get the new army of war game, when she got to his house, she saw that he cleaned his room a little. He had a big box of oyster crackers, and they are her favorite and he let her be his "player two"; they spent the whole night together. It’s a day that they both remember fondly.

Ronaldo Fryman: Lars and Ronaldo were childhood friends, but their relationship was strained after Ronaldo took a picture of him being hit in the face by a board in a Gem-possessed lighthouse which injured him badly. Ronaldo wanted to release the photo to media as proof of paranormal activity to the news, however, Lars is uncomfortable with the photo, worried about what others would think of him, and tears up the photo, much to the dismay of Ronaldo, which leads to their falling out. Lars seems still to be bothered by this event.

The Cool Kids: Lars desperately wanted to be friends with the "cool kids" and found anything that they did or said to be cool or hilarious. He would even change his opinion based solely on what they think, but they gradually came to accept him into their group of friends. They are now happily hanging out with him in.

Dante and Martha Barriga: Dante is Lars’ father, Martha is his mother. They are generally supportive despite his poor attitude, which they try to talk to him about often. Whenever they talk to him about his grades, he would loudly yell at them, swearing.
