Makomo has a bit of the abstract; dreamy; gentle and complex speech. She's twenty years old, her birthday falling on June 1st. Makomo is a young girl of short stature and pale skin, who possesses gentle eyes of a deep cyan color, their pupils rectangular and white, that were a notably paler turquoise near the bottom. She has black hair that comes down to her shoulders, spiking outwards at the ends, and short micro bangs over her forehead. While her speech may be a bit abstract; complex and dreamy, she can be encouraging. She helped Tanjiro with his training during the Unwavering Resolve Arc when he was training to become a demon slayer. Makomo reached the highest rank of the demon slayer corps; Hashira; about 6 years ago when she was about the young age of 14 years old. She has a deep friendship with Sabito; who is Giyu's best friend. Giyu, Sabito and Makomo have something in common, they all use Water Breathing as they were training under the same master, Sakonji Urokodaki. Although, Makomo trained earlier than Giyu and Sabito, and Makomo joined the final selection earlier than them as well. Sabito and Giyu only came afterwards.

Yuichiro and Muichiro look a bit identical, they both have their mother's genetics - the boys have long black hair with ends
