In 2020, at just 17 years old, Ado made her early debut with the digital single titled “Usseewa.” The song soon reached #1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100, DO Oricon Digital Singles Chart, and Oricon Streaming Chart. The song’s music video on her YouTube channel reached 100 million views just 148 days after its release. Reaching 100 million views on Billboard Japan after just 17 weeks from its inception made her the fastest music artist to achieve this in history and the youngest for a solo singer. She is currently signed to the artist management company Cloud Nine.

Early Years and Musical Beginnings: 2014-2020

Ado was born on October 24, 2002, in Tokyo, Japan.

In 2014, she became interested in music after the launch of the video-sharing website Niconico on the Nintendo 3DS. She started watching videos on the small screen of her Nintendo 3DS and was captivated by Niconico cover singers who performed without showing their faces.

Years later, in 2017, Ado began singing as a utaite (an online cover singer) on Niconico after uploading a video of herself singing a cover of "Kimi no Taion" on January 10, 2017. On Nippon TV, she shared that during her time as a utaite, she soundproofed her closet using materials purchased online and recorded inside it.

In 2019, she appeared on Kujira's digital single "Kinmokusei," which was released on December 23, 2019. A few months later, she was featured as the vocalist on jon-YAKITORY's digital single "Shikabanēze," released on March 29, 2020. In May 2020, she participated in Pony Canyon's compilation album PALETTE4. She released two songs, "Call Boy" by syudou and "Taema Naku Ai-iro" by Shishi Shishi, both as digital releases.

On December 24 of the same year, she released her second single, "Readymade," written by Vocaloid producer Surii, as a digital release.

By January 23, 2021, "Usseewa" had reached 40 million views on YouTube, and on February 3, 2021, it ranked No. 1 on both the Oricon Digital Singles Chart and the Oricon Streaming Chart. On February 14, she released her third single, "Gira Gira," written by Vocaloid producer teniwoha, as a digital release. Four days later, on February 18, her YouTube channel surpassed 1 million subscribers.

On March 15, 2021, "Usseewa" reached No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100, and on March 20, the music video on YouTube hit 100 million views, 148 days after its release. By March 29, "Usseewa" had surpassed 100 million streams on Billboard JAPAN's "Streaming Songs" chart just 17 weeks after its debut, making Ado the sixth fastest musical artist in history to achieve this milestone and the youngest solo artist to do so.

Contribution to One Piece Film: Red: 2022

Ado lent her singing voice to the character Uta in the musical film One Piece Film: Red, which premiered in Japan on August 6, 2022. On August 10, 2022, she announced the release of her album and CD "Uta no Uta One Piece Film: Red," featuring the songs created for the film: "New Genesis," "I'm Invincible," "Backlight," "Fleeting Lullaby," "Tot Musica," "The World's Continuation," "Where the Wind Blows," and "BINKUSUNO SAKE."

From December 2022 to January 2023, Ado held her first national live tour, "Shinkiro" (Mirage), with 10 performances across six different locations throughout Japan.

Ado is most commonly typed as ISFP (Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, Perceiving). This suggests Ado is Introverted but not a nerd, Artistic, Intuitive and Rebellious. See other ISFP celebrities who share these traits.

As an ISFP, Ado likely relies on cognitive functions like Introverted Feeling (Fi) and Extraverted Sensing (Se). This unique combination of cognitive functions influences how Ado processes information, makes decisions, and interacts with the world. These traits might manifest in Ado's approach to problem-solving, communication style, and personal relationships.

One item that Ado often uses is a blue rose. It represents the language of flowers. The color blue originally represents mystery, freedom, openness, and achieving the impossible, though through genetic manipulation by Japanese researchers in 2002, its language was changed from “impossible” to “dreams coming true,” a term that resonates with Ado’s personality and vision.

Ado's avatar: She has long, wavy, and flowing dark blue hair with teal-green undertones that shimmer subtly, giving her an ethereal vibe. Her hair frames her face delicately and falls well past her waist. She has piercing, bright teal-blue eyes that stand out due to their intense, almost glowing quality, adding a sense of mystery to her expression. Her face is pale and delicate, with soft features. She often appears melancholic or introspective, enhancing her enigmatic demeanor. Outfit: elegan that emphasizes her mysterious and confident aura. Top: A white dress shirt with a high collar, paired with a black vest or corset-like garment underneath, giving her a polished look. Coat: She wears a long black coat with coattails, emphasizing sophistication and grace. Bottoms: Slim-fit black trousers or pants that contribute to her sleek silhouette. Accessories: She holds or gestures near a single black or dark blue rose, adding a dramatic and poetic flair.

Ado didn’t grow up confident about herself, she was really shy and didn’t think she could do anything great because of that. But she found her confidence through song, and was able to express herself anonymously, wich made it easier for her.
