Saiki avoids social interactions as much as possible, preferring to stay in the background. He rarely speaks aloud, relying on telepathy for communication when necessary. Socializing exhausts him, and he doesn’t seek emotional connections, though they often find him despite his efforts. Saiki is incredibly perceptive, both because of his psychic abilities and his sharp intellect. He has a keen eye for spotting trouble before it happens and usually devises strategies to avoid getting involved. His inner monologue is filled with witty, sardonic remarks about the absurdity of his surroundings. He often delivers deadpan commentary on his classmates’ eccentricities or the ridiculous situations he finds himself in.
