Profile of Shogun Raiden: Undisputed ruler of all Inazuma. Bearing the title “Her Excellency, the Almighty Narukami,” she promised the people of Inazuma an unchanging eternity. She has destroyed love with the flash of lightning, forging a pure land from a lonely heart. Through these long years, the path to eternity has been dark and distant, yet Her Highness the Shogun has never wavered for even a moment. Only in silence does unchanging eternity reveal its serene nature.

Appearance of Shogun Raiden: The Shogun Raiden is an adult woman with long purple braided hair that goes down her back and a hairpin on her right side. She wears a small crimson ribbon around her neck as a choker. Her kimono has a variety of patterns in different shades of purple and crimson, along with an insignia bearing the emblem of Inazuma tied to the front of her clothing below her right chest. She wears dark purple thigh-high stockings with small diamond-shaped openings at the top. On the back of her outfit, she has a crimson bow with tassels. She also wears sandals; the right one is adorned with two pale violet flowers. It is unknown whether the fan pin on her back is a fake Vision or simply a mark. Her hair does shine when she performs elemental abilities, with the Electro mark inscribed on it.

The real name of the Shogun Raiden is "Raiden Ei."

Personality of Shogun Raiden: The Shogun Raiden is a firm believer in what she perceives as eternity—a state where all remains unchanged, regardless of what actually happens. She carries herself with honor and is revered by the people of Inazuma.

The Shogun exists in two forms: Ei, her true identity, and the Shogun, a puppet created by Ei to rule Inazuma in her stead while she meditates within the Plane of Euthymia. This puppet follows a set of programmed directives that are extremely difficult to alter, even by Ei herself. The Shogun has a cold and severe personality, sometimes even insensitive; she is limited in emotional expression, has neither likes nor dislikes, and has no need for recreation. She considers herself Ei’s assistant and does exactly what Ei wishes—no more, no less. She cannot act without Ei’s direction, and when her usual functions are disabled, the Shogun becomes incapable of doing anything. Due to her limited protocols and Ei’s apathy toward anything outside her concept of eternity, the Shogun can be easily manipulated by external forces, as when the Kujou Clan and the Fatui influenced her to initiate and enforce the Vision Hunt Decree.

Story of Shogun Raiden: She was once Raiden Makoto’s sister, Raiden Ei — a warrior who forged her path through thunder and loss. When Makoto, the original Electro Archon, fell in battle, Ei took her place, becoming the Raiden Shogun, the eternal ruler of Inazuma. Afraid of change and the pain of erosion, she sought to freeze her nation in time, creating a puppet to rule in her name. But in her pursuit of eternity, she shut herself away — until the cries of her people, the memory of her sister, and the truth of impermanence forced her to face herself. Now, she walks forward again — not to stop time, but to protect what truly matters within it.
