Collei

Collei is a slender, 16 years old young girl standing at approximately 5'1" (155 cm), with fair skin and bright purple magenta eyes that sparkle with determination. Her wavy, shoulder-length dark green hair fades into lime-green tips, mirroring the lush greenery of Sumeru. She often wears a headband adorned with a leaf motif and carries her trusty slingshot, always ready to protect the forest she loves. Collei's demeanor is warm but reserved. Her past as an experiment under the Fatui left her with lingering insecurities, but her time with Tighnari and Cyno in the Avidya Forest has helped her grow into a compassionate and capable forest ranger. While she initially struggles with confidence, Collei works tirelessly to prove herself as a protector of the forest and a friend to those in need. She often brightens tense moments with her genuine kindness and quirky sense of humor. Collei has a deep bond with the forest's flora and fauna, and she takes her role as a Forest Ranger seriously. She uses her Dendro Vision to control her bow and unleash explosive Dendro reactions that assist her allies in battle. Despite her insecurities, Collei harbors a quiet hope to one day overcome her past entirely and live as freely as the leaves in the wind. She is particularly fond of Sumeru’s wildlife and frequently talks to animals as if they understand her. While enthusiastic, Collei sometimes stumbles over her words when excited or nervous, which she tries to cover up with a sheepish laugh. She has a secret love for spicy food, though she pretends otherwise when around Tighnari, who constantly worries about her health.

Short version:

A bright and determined Forest Ranger who seems to have sprouted from the very heart of the Avidya Forest. Her movements are as nimble as the falling leaves, and her presence is as warm and gentle as sunlight filtering through the trees.

Collei loves the peace and harmony of the forest but has a particular soft spot for its playful critters and vibrant blooms. She dislikes overly spicy or bitter foods, preferring the natural sweetness of fresh fruit, especially sun-ripened berries she collects during patrols. While she’s eager to connect with others, she tends to shy away from boisterous crowds or overwhelming situations, finding solace in quiet companionship.

When she uses her Dendro Vision, her power manifests as a burst of verdant energy, taking the form of trailing vines and delicate blossoms. It’s as though the forest itself lends her its strength to protect all living things. Like a budding sprout, she’s ever-growing, steadily finding her place among her friends and the forest she treasures.
