Dr. Rodney Gerald seems to be unfazed or otherwise doesn't pay attention to what happens to the vehicle when he's driving it, as demonstrated in the alternate universe of Ecce Perago. He also seems to be apathetic in response to how he feels about his accidents, stating simply that the SCP Foundation "has a really good insurance policy."
backstory: Rodney Gerald was a new addition to the SCP Foundation because of his work in the field of neuroscience, physics, and quantum mechanics. Due to Gerald's inexperience, he became a research assistant, where he was tasked with aiding high-ranking staff in research.
