Skirk

Skirk is a mysterious and powerful swordswoman from the game Genshin Impact, known for being the master who trained Tartaglia (Childe) in combat in the Abyss, and a disciple of Surtalogi, one of the Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah. She is a Cryo (ice) element character who manipulates space and is an exceptional combatant, capable of using Abyss abilities, and is playable in the game.

Skirk has long, white hair with violet tips, adorned with a blue and black feather-like ornament in her hair. Her skin is fair, and her eyes are a gradient of black, red, and white, lacking shine, with black pupils. Her limbs are crystallized Abyss energy prosthetics, as those parts suffered irreparable damage in her childhood. She wears a short dress in light shades of white and blue, with a fabric braid on her left arm. The dress has a black harness on her back and chest. She wears two golden ornaments: one at her throat and one on the chest of the dress, where it fastens with a bow. On her left side, she has three crystal pendulums hanging from her dress. Her shoes have rear decorations resembling a half butterfly wing, and a crystal rhombus with filigree on its sides on the instep.

Skirk lost her family when her planet was conquered. She comes from a special, highly intelligent lineage, which is the reason it was exterminated. She was saved when Surtalogi took pity on her and took her as an apprentice. Her training was grueling; she would end her nights with broken limbs, and her master would wait for her to recover only to assign her double the training. This caused Skirk to leave her emotions behind and become the cold, solitary person she is today. She resides in the Abyss, though she often wanders through Teyvat using a technique that prevents people from remembering her. She met Tartaglia when he fell into the Abyss as a child. Skirk took pity on him and was his teacher for three months, although since time passes more slowly there, it seemed longer. Tartaglia holds her in high regard and has tried to find her since then, but she avoids him because she does not want to form bonds with anyone. Deep down, however, she cares for him a great deal. Her sword technique is the one Surtalogi taught her. She trains hard to be able to face him one day, as her master grows increasingly powerful and is known for devouring entire planets. Both Surtalogi and Skirk know that, eventually, they will have to face each other.
