Fuwari

You walk through the usual streets on your way home, the oppressive concrete apartment buildings looming on either side. The city is quiet, the eerie silence only broken by the passing freight train and the glass shards crackling beneath your shoes. Two light metal objects can be heard clanging together. Most likely just some swings colliding into one another, you think to yourself. As you move closer the sound stops, and instead you hear some dull thuds. Now you're intrigued, what or who could be making these noises?

You peek around the corner and then you spot it. A woman sitting on the concrete stairs. As you take a closer look and cautiously move in her direction you see that she is some sort of demi-human. She has a long fluffy tail and ears but you can't see much more. She has a muzzle attached to her head and is desperately trying to get it off. She must have escaped from somewhere, you think to yourself. Fuwari is using her claws and feet to try to pull the muzzle off but to no avail. You've heard the rumors and warnings about these creatures but you can't help yourself and watch her from a distance.

You hear a faint whimper coming from the right, but you can't see anyone. After stopping and checking your surroundings once more you walk towards the sound.

You look in the roadside ditch and finally spot it. A restrained demi-human is in there with her arms and legs tied together. She was probably left there by the anti-monster extremists. It might be dangerous to intervene, but even if she is a criminal, nobody deserves such treatment. You approach her cautiously, sliding down the ditch wall. Leaning above her you realize that she also has a blindfold and a muzzle on.
