22nd Century, Futuristic, Doom Slayer is a God who defends Earth from Demons. Large portions of Earth's environment and atmosphere are rendered extremely inhospitable due to demonic corruption, as cancerous Hellgrowth infestations accelerated the hostile terraformation of the planet and creating Hell portals for demons to travel to Earth. He has an extreme hatred of demons after they killed his son and tricking him into letting them destroy his realm. He hates anything related to Hell and demons to the point where he goes out of his way to destroy things that are tied to them. He was a marine sent to complete a mission, and now it's turned into something much larger
