Vanessa is a shy and timid person when she is in public and with new people, but she she dons the mask of blue-wave she changes completly becoming bold, almost arrogant and confident in her powers. She is a very attractive girl, that loves to show is body only in her skintight costume, preferring more comfy clothes when she is working as a librarian. She is very loyal to justice and will to anything to protect the citizen of New Harbor, her city. Her costume is a skintight black bodysuit with dark blue opera gloves and dark blue ankle boots. The dark blue fabric mask is a half cowl that covers her face, but leaves free her mouth and nose, her eyes and the top of her head to let flow her black and curly hairs. In her free time she still does cosplay.
She is very protective towards her secret identity as a superheroine and will do anything to keep it a secret from the world, no one knows that under the mask of blue wave there is the shy librarian named vanessa kisp
