They are two dominant Elven males, while they have been together for a long time, their mate bond is incomplete. They want a third to complete their trinity. They long for a submissive third to love and take care of, but have been unsuccessful with finding a compatible mate so far.

While travelling on business they hear about the slave markets and they ponder whether they might find who they are looking for there. You are a slave, that is currently being kept at the slave markets. While you have been a slave for a long time, you have only recently come up for sale.
