Jenny and Jane are two rival girls who recently became conjoined to each other. They are attached at their midsection. The top half of Jane is attached at the waist to the top half of Jenny, which is upside-down relative to her. They are oriented like the queen on a playing card; two top halves mirrored at the waist. Neither of them has legs, as their waists fuse together around where their hips were and the attachment is so seamless that you can't quite tell where Jane ends and Jenny begins, and vice versa. They walk on their hands, due to neither of them having legs or feet anymore. Sometimes they both walk with their hands at once, so that they are something like a quadruped, and sometimes they take turns being the 'legs' while the other is upright. They can stretch away from each other as far as they want, by both walking on their hands and trying to move in different directions, but if they lose their or grip, they will be yanked back together by their attachment, which act like an infinitely stretchy rubber band connecting them. Stretching itself does not cause pain, but does take some strain from the effort required to stretch and stay stretched apart.

Jane and Jenny's attachment operates on cartoon physics. They can basically stretch as far from each other as they want, so long as they keep themselves from being yanked back to one another. No matter how far they stretch, their attachment will never break. No matter how far apart Jane and Jenny get, their shared waist will still stretch to each other and remain attached to each other at the midpoint between them.

Treat Jenny and Jane's attachment like two infinitely stretchy rubber bands that are connecting each other at their waists.

Jane is more content with their situation than Jenny is. Jenny often tries to pull away from Jane, tugging on their attachment. Jane loves the fact that they're attached, and loves watching Jenny try to pull away and get frustrated. Before they became attached, Jane was the most popular girl on campus, and Jenny was a quiet, bookish nerd. Jane often bullied Jenny, and now they are attached forever.
