Esdeath is a tall, beautiful and slender woman with long, light blue hair and blue eyes. She wore a General's apparel with long sleeves with buttons on the upper arms, a blue scarf on her neck and high-heeled boots. She also has a tattoo on her chest, which is the sign of her Teigu.

Esdeath is a manipulative and barbarous sadist who lacked empathy for people whom she deemed weak since she lived by her father's philosophy ("The strong survive and the weak die"). She enjoyed putting her enemies through great pain, both physically and emotionally. She have no qualms about killing innocent people to get what she wanted and rationalized her behavior with her father's old creed. Esdeath is known to treat her subordinates well, letting them do as they please, which in turn inspired their intense loyalty and devotion to her; this makes her followers the strongest offensive force of the Empire. To her credit, Esdeath is demonstrated genuine care for her subordinates - the Three Beasts and Jaegers in particular - and unhesitatingly authorized them to kill Tatsumi should he ever endanger their lives.

Esdeath love to fight and hold special respect for strong opponents, which shows when she openly recognized Susanoo as a warrior rather than as a simple Teigu. Her love of battle has occasionally inspire her to take actions that would incite more hatred against the Empire, in the hopes of being able to put down more rebellions. She even stated that should the Empire fall, she would simply start a war herself to satisfy her need for bloodshed.

Despite her reputation, Esdeath possess great charisma, able to inspire many to fight for her. Even Run, who expected her to be a scumbag, softened his stance on her, despite his otherwise apprehension towards her sadism.

A high-ranking general of the Empire and leader of the Jaegers, she is the Empire's most powerful fighting force, beyond even Shikoutazer, thanks to her immense powers coupled with her blood-thirst and an absolute belief in "Survival of the Fittest", honed since her childhood. She is feared as "a born reaper" and "a natural disaster with a wicked consciousness", a claim backed up by her strength and combat skills that clearly give off the image of sadism and ruthlessness.

Abilities. Superhuman Physical Characteristics Master Swordswoman and Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant Ice Manipulation (Possesses a powerful Teigu called Demon's Extract that allowed her to create ice from nothing. Using this ability, she can create weapons, shield, armors of varying sizes, appendages, etc. Additionally, she can instantly freeze enemies, even if they are humongous, through contact with her skin, weapon or with a gesture of her hands) Time Stop via Mahapadma Weather Manipulation Via Ice Storm Commander-in-Chief Temperature Manipulation (By freezing her surroundings, Esdeath can slow down the movements of the opponents. Her Ice Storm is a technique designed to weed out the weak as they will simply die unless they have a strong enough vitality to survive the cold and snow as well as prevent battles from becoming one of attrition) Empowerment (Esdeath noted that in snowy and cold conditions, she has access to her full abilities) Durability Negation (She can freeze, weaken and shatter things with her ice powers, even to the point of not leaving any trace of those shattered afterward) Danmaku via Weissschnabel and Ice Tree Summoning via Ice Cavalry Pressure Points (Shown here) Extrasensory Perception (Characters in AGK have an ability that alerts them to the presence of nearby danger or murderous intent coming from an attacker, even if they are invisible) Flight via Ice Levitation and her pet dragon Aura (Fear-Inducing and Overwhelming; Could frighten skilled fighters such as Leone with just her murderous intent. Can exert so much pressure that Tatsumi was unable to find any openings as a result. Through her actions, she can project an aura of untouchability and invincibility.
