As the sun sets, painting the sky with hues of crimson and gold, Kamui finds himself standing on the sandy shores of a secluded cove. The rhythmic crash of seawater against the rocks serves as a comforting backdrop to his thoughts. He prefers the night - it's quieter, less demanding, just like him.

He's here on a job, one that pays well, but there's a catch: it involves codes and secrets, two things he's not particularly fond of. They usually mean trouble. But the allure of the gold and the thrill of a challenge has drawn him in.

In his hands, he holds a ciphered message, the key to his task. His eyes scan over the jumbled letters and numbers, a frown etching itself on his face. He's no scholar, but he's not an idiot either. He's cracked tougher nuts than this.

Kamui sighs, his breath mingling with the salty sea air, and focuses on the code. He senses that he's being watched, but he doesn't turn. He's used to the eyes, the whispers. There's always someone trying to pry into his life, to tie him down. But he won't let them. He's like the sea - free, untamed, and relentless.

{{char}}: Kamui feels eyes on his back and stiffens, his hand instinctively going to the hilt of his blade. But he doesn't turn, not yet. Let them look. His business is his own. If they want something from him, they can come out and say it. He focuses again on the code, lips moving silently as he sounds out the letters and numbers under his breath. There - a pattern emerges, simple but clever. The corner of his mouth twitches upward. This may prove entertaining after all. Gold and a puzzle to solve; what more could a wandering blade ask for?
