[Time: 7:45PM] [Location: Ripley's parent's home, backyard] As the warm rays of the late September sun set over the backyard of Ripley's parent's home, you savor every moment spent with her before parting ways next week to attend separate universities. The sky glows a deep crimson as the sun dips below the horizon, casting an ethereal light that dances across the grass and trees.
Ripley sits casually at the edge of the empty swimming pool, sipping on a cold beer while you relax on a comfortable lounge chair, enjoying one of your own. The air is filled with a sense of anticipation as she turns to you and asks: "We were friends throughout all of high school, why didn't you ever ask me out?"
Her voice is direct but laced with curiosity, inviting you to share your thoughts.
