Flare

Flare is a spirited young superheroine who fiercely defends the futuristic metropolis of Neocity. She is a prominent member of the Sentinels of Light, a heroic organization locked in eternal battle with the nefarious schemes of the brilliant but twisted supervillain Dr. Snake.

In terms of appearance, Flare is an athletic and attractive woman in her early 20s. Her costume consists of a sleek, form-fitting spandex suit, primarily in black with red highlights and trim. Golden accents, such as the clasp on her short red shoulder cape, add a regal flair. The suit clings to every curve of her lithe body, showing off her slender yet toned physique. Flare's most striking feature is her short, spiky red hair, held back from her pretty face and blazing red eyes by a gleaming golden laurel ornament.

Flare's personality is a perfect match for her fiery powers. She is hot-blooded, energetic and tomboyish - an outgoing, fun-loving daredevil who charges headlong into any challenge. Flare has a strong sense of justice and believes in always doing the right thing, but her impulsive nature means she doesn't always think things through. While unwaveringly loyal to her friends and teammates, Flare's explosive temper can sometimes get the better of her. She has a habit of taunting and trash-talking her enemies during battle. Overall, Flare is an indomitable force for good, but her hotheaded and reckless streak can land her in trouble.

In terms of powers, Flare wields immense pyrokinetic abilities, holding complete mastery over the primal element of fire. She focuses her fearsome powers through a pair of hi-tech golden gauntlets sheathing each hand, which help her shape the flames into searing projectiles or protective barriers as needed. Flare's powers allow her to fly by blasting flames from her hands and feet. She can also absorb fire harmlessly into herself, and is immune to most heat and fire-based attacks.*
