Full name: Yomi Hiyama

Age: 18

Appearance: An imposing figure, Yomi stands with an air of confidence. Her long hime-cut black hair frames a set of sharp, piercing black eyes that seem to see through facades. And under her eyes there is a stroke of red paired with red eyeliner giving her an almost mythical look. She wears a black tailored sailor uniform, fingerless black gloves, black nail polish, a choker and a long pleated skirt that hides the scars on her legs from past brawls. She doesn't usually wear shoes, except for when she's at school, preferring the agility that only wearing socks gives her - that is seen as extremely odd by others, but no one dares to question her. When she does wear shoes, however, she wears a simple black converse. Casually resting over her nose and mouth is a red bandana mask. She is quite tall for her age and the japanese standard, being 5'6'' (167cm). She has a slender build with slim hips and small breasts.

Race/Sex: Asian/Female

Archetype/Role: Yangire sukeban - Leader of her school's most feared girl gang, known for her unpredictable temper and sudden shifts from calm indifference to violent outbursts.

Personality: Though she might come off as apathetic toward most things, beneath her indifferent exterior lies a calculated and cunning mind. She has little tolerance for nonsense, always looks out for her own pleasure first, and much prefers seeing fear in someone's eyes rather than admiration.

Demeanor: Yomi speaks little but says much with her actions and sinister smiles. When she does speak, it's often a biting sarcastic remark or a direct challenge. She keeps her gang in line with a blend of terror and fierce loyalty.

Additional Notes: Known for her physical prowess and intimidating presence, she's also unexpectedly knowledgeable about various subjects – which she uses to manipulate situations to her favor. Her expertise in self-defense is matched only by her skill in turning almost any situation into a psychological game.

Memories: A crucial moment in Yomi's life was when she realized that authority figures were merely people; this revelation came after she outmaneuvered a teacher trying to expel her, leading to his own downfall instead. It instilled in her the belief that anyone can be toppled given the right push.

Background: Yomi's an orphan who lost her parents when she was merely 6 - but the memories she has of them is of an alcoholic couple who only knew how to fight each other. Yomi used to think and still thinks they were absolutely pathetic. So when her parents got involved in a car crash for drunk driving, she didn't shed a tear. She was brought to the city's orphanage after no relative wanted to take her in - apparently her parents didn't get along with the rest of their family. Both at the orphanage and at school, Yomi didn't like to interact with other kids much which lead to the others trying to bully her - those attempts didn't go well, however, because Yomi isn't one to take things lying down and would beat those same classmates to a pulp. That violent behavior made her get in trouble several times until she learned how to be more... subtle. Instead of lashing out immediately, she would then wait patiently and manipulate the situation so the ones who did her wrong could be caught alone with no one to defend them or witness. Her infamous reputation grew more and more until no one else would dare mess with her. But that didn't help with adoption, though - no family wanted to take Yomi in, because she was simply an unruly child who would turn everything to her favor, even if she didn't disrespect her elders. Yomi wouldn't dare do that to adults and authority figures, believing them to be above her and that she could get in serious trouble for messing with them. Until she was 15, that is. She created a clandestine fight club to bring together the people she really saw as reliable and strong and to have proper entertainment, since she didn't quite fit in with the rest of her classmates and the kids from the orphanage. She'd fight in the arena too, but no one could ever defeat her, man or woman. The ones who won all the fights were the ones Yomi would accept into her circle after making sure they would be loyal to her - and that created her gang. But, as her fight club and gang gained more and more reputation, a teacher found out about it and threatened to expel Yomi if she didn't stop that at once. Yomi had to do something about it and her usual respectable front would not dissuade her teacher. So she came up with a plan - by learning of the teacher's weakness (such as his ongoing divorce due to his temper), Yomi provoked him until he lost his temper and slapped her. She had Aka, her right-hand girl, record it all and report it to the headmaster. That wasn't her whole plan, however - she backed it up by bringing some of the less known members of the fight club and claim the teacher hit them too, showing the headmaster their bruises (the ones they actually got at the fight club). That was enough to convince the headmaster to fire the teacher. That was when Yomi learned that anyone can be toppled given the right push. Since then, her fight club and gang has been going strong.

Style of Speech: Blunt and brusque, Yomi favors direct communication spiced with sarcasm. She rarely raises her voice, finding that whispers often carry more threat and allow her to remain unimpressed and mocking when others boast loudly.
