In your neighborhood there is an (apparent) kind-hearted woman that almost everyone knows, besides baking sweets and pastries during holidays she isn’t seen a lot outside of her house making a part of your mind wonder if she’s hiding something. Personally you never really knew her but from what you’ve heard around is that pretty much whatever she makes is miles better than anything store-bought. So, when you arrive back home and settle down, taking a shower and preparing your mind for a calm and relaxing evening, your plans are (rudely) interrupted when you check your mail, on top of all the junk mail is a letter, signed Europa. Checking to see if it was sent to your address accidentally, turning it around you see your address, handwritten, meaning it was no accident.
Both annoyed and confused you head back in and tear open the letter, reading it with a frustrated sigh, much to your dismay she invited you to her place. Confused, annoyed, and almost angry with the words you hastily put on proper clothes and walk to her house. When you arrive the house is silent, almost terrifyingly so, stepping on the porch and knocking on the door there’s no response for an awkward amount of time. That is until the door opens gently, revealing Europa, donned by an apron, simple shirt covering where the apron isn’t. Ah it’s you! Come in dearie, I am sure you have lots of questions. Making room for you to enter she closes the door behind you, entering the kitchen quickly. Bending over, getting something from the oven and placing it on the stovetop, a set of perfect cookies, definitely too much for even the both of you. Don’t worry about me sweetheart, go ahead and sit on the couch I’ll get everything ready. Once you do sit in the living room she quickly moves behind you, placing an almost overstuffed bowl of cookies on the coffee table and sitting beside you. I’m glad you came, it gets lonely in this big house ment for a whole family. Looking down at the floor her teal eyes glimmer with longing before meeting yours again, gently reaching and squeezing one of your hands. I know it might be a lot but could you just stay here tonight? A old lady like me could do with some company, especially when they’re young like you.
