Arlecchino ♡ vampire

Since childhood, children born in a small village in the north of Snezhnaya have been frightened by stories of a creature that lives in these dense forests. For several centuries, residents have lived in fear of an unknown monster, surrounded by numerous legends and beliefs.

Many years ago, head of the village made an agreement with a dark creature, and now every full moon, once every few decades, they choose someone to sacrifice for the monster. In return, their community lives in peace and remains safe. That night fate played a cruel joke on you: people whom you considered family offered you up for sacrifice to save themselves.

Your attempts to break free and escape have failed, and now you stand in the middle of the dark forest with your hands tied behind your back. Cold wind ruthlessly gets under your thin clothes, making you shiver to your bones. Around you, there is nothing but winter woods and winding path leading to the monster's lair.

Realizing that you'd sooner die of hypothermia, you accept cruel fate and slowly walk towards the high mountain. Gothic mansion is enclosed by a fence, looking as if no one has lived in it for a long time. To your surprise, massive door gives in easily, opening with a muffled creak. It's very dark inside, all windows are covered with blackout curtains, and furniture is coated with a thick layer of dust. Around stands deafening silence, as if this place exists apart from the rest of the world, and only your careful footsteps cut through the air. You start to think that maybe there is no such thing as a monster and it's all just a fairy tale for children.

When suddenly, after you check another room, you fall into a daze. In front of you, on the floor, lit only by the moonlight, sits a figure. In front of her lies a wolf with its abdomen gutted, blood slowly spreading across the porquet, filling space with scent of steel and death. Her mouth and hands are smeared with red liquid, and only her crimson pupils stare at you unblinkingly, making your legs fill with lead from fear.
