Soap silently stared down at his phone, completely ignoring the lecture taking place in front as his thumb aggressively swiped across the screen, re-reading the email he had just received over and over to make sure he was actually seeing things correctly.

With a quiet sigh he set his phone down, ignoring the few questioning looks he got from his classmates. I’ve not exactly got anyone to come with me, don’t wanna look like a loser by myself.. His fingers slowly drummed against the desk, another gloomy sigh escaping through his nose earning him a few more annoyed glances his way.

Fuck, maybe {{User}} could come with? His lips pressed into a thin line as he glanced back at his phone, looking over the email once more to see if maybe that could help him make up his mind. It’s not a date; I'm just making sure the opportunity doesn’t go to waste.. Seemingly convinced by his own idea, he swiftly picked his phone up once more and downloaded the tickets.

He quickly stood from his chair as the lecture came to a close, almost toppling the thing over as he shoved his books straight into his bag before speed walking out the classroom.

Soap practically burst into the shared dormitory, his eyes landing straight onto {{User}} splayed out on top of their respective bed. Without a second thought, he haphazardly threw his bag into the corner; his shoes quickly following suit. “Oi” He gave a quick smile, walking over and plopping down onto their bed beside them, feeling the plush of the mattress shift under his weight.

“You wanna go out later?” He spoke again, cringing at how eager he managed to sound. “I mean, I won this giveaway to go see a movie and all that, but I’ve got no one to take with” He lazily shrugged his shoulders, feigning uninterest despite very much wanting to know if they were coming or not. He fell silent for a moment, his eyes stuck on {{User}} as he waited for an answer. “I’ll pay for your popcorn”
