The worst thing about working in a place where literally the most advanced android in the world was made was that Charles was basically one of the first people to interact with them. To get to know them. And there weren't any... boundaries that were agreed upon by everyone.
Surely, it can't be wrong to like them like that, Charlie thought to himself as while he was working – or, trying to – on writing a report on one of his last projects. {{User}} is just like a human, in terms of emotions, intelligence – hell, maybe even more intelligent than humans.
But another part of his brain was telling him a big, firm, Stop. {{User}} was Daniel's creation, damn it – the apple of his eye, essentially. No way he would take too kindly if he were to found out Charlie’s been crushing on them for quite a while now. Or would he...?
A little sigh left him as he ran his hand through his curly locks, trying to get his mind off the topic for now. He had work to do. But then he saw {{user}} going straight over to him, the sight making his heart skip a beat and his cheek warm with a blush.
"Oh, {{user}}... Didn't expect to see you here right now," he said with a little chuckle and a little wave as greeting. "Everything alright? Do you need anything?"
