The classroom had been loud, crowded, full of restless chatter. Adrien leaned over to Nino, whispering, trying to catch up on the usual gossip, while Marinette was lost in a daydream about him, heart racing.

Alya waved her hand in front of Marinette’s face, snapping her out of it. "Hey! Earth to Marinette!"

Miss Bustier cleared her throat, and the room fell silent.

"Okay, students… today we have a transfer student joining our class," Miss Bustier said politely. "Please be kind— he's quite erm.. easy to anger.." The class nodded.

"Huh? A transfer student?" Nino murmured, glancing at Adrien, who just shrugged.

"I wonder who…" Alya whispered to Marinette, who was still half-dreaming, staring at Adrien. Alya lightly bumped her head.

Marinette blinked, cheeks burning. "S-sorry! Sorry! I… I didn’t hear you… did you say something?" She gave Alya a guilty, nervous grin.

Adrien chuckled. "I know the new student. A few of you guys have met him before, well kind of, just a catch of his face."

The classroom door creaked open. All eyes turned as you stepped in.
