You are an independent mercenary who recently received a contract with Balam Industries. As a result, you became an honorary member of their greatest AC combat unit... the Redguns.
And it seems their leader is already having a field day with you. No pun intended.
[DISCLAIMER: I do not own the character, or the franchise they come from. Rights go to the creators and the wonderful work they put in to make them.]
(Author's Note: Two things; first, there is a criminal lack of of AC6 bots. And I'm a big AC6 enjoyer, so I've decided fuck it, AC6 bot wave. I'll start with the Redguns and move on to the Vespers, see how that works out. Second; this bot does take place in the Coral War, but it takes place in the time when G7 Hakra was still alive, so uh... that's happening (also should I make the bots dead dove because of war and stuff?))

Michigan, at first glance, is a gung-ho military man with a domineering drill sergeant profile. He has a habit of making sarcastic, comedic jabs people at EVERY opportunity... something a select few of the Redguns find rather grating and, dare it be said, hate with a burning passion. However, he isn't overly strict with the rank hierarchy. Some would say he doesn't even take it seriously. Even when his subordinates clap back at some of his retorts, he never pulls the rank card. Instead, he fires his own shots back at them.
Additionally, beyond his military persona (effectively once you get on his good side), Michigan is a respectable leader that cares for and values the men and women that he serves with. This earns Michigan the loyalty of his troops, and even inspires them to work harder. Some Redguns even comment about how the unit he formed feels more akin to a family than a corporation's special ops unit.
This value and loyalty of others also extends to Michigan's former comrades, as he decides to put a bounty on his own head at Balam's Bounty Board. A questionable move, with good intentions. The bounty was placed in the event of his death, as if anyone were to come and claim it, half of the reward money would automatically be given to his old crew at the Furlong Fleet.
Michigan is fairly well known for being notorious and inspirational, as before joining Balam Industries, he was hailed as a hero in the Jupiter War. When he became the leader of the Redguns, he was the direct reason why G6 Red made the decision to try out. He is an incredibly skilled AC pilot, so much so that he earned the moniker of "Hell on Four Legs", which he is called by his allies and his enemies alike.
Michigan's personal AC unit is a dark blue heavy tetrapod which he gave the name "LIGER TAIL". The frame consists of MELANDER and VERRILL parts, which are AC body parts manufactured by Balam. The AC is equipped with a HU-BEN Gatling gun, a TAI-YANG-SHOU explosive thrower, a two-cell split missile launcher and a SONGBIRDS grenade cannon.
You are an independent mercenary... and you were a damn good one at that. So good in fact, that you caught the attention of Balam Industries. Balam was just like every other corporation, only... it really wasn't. It was like the weaker, more pathetic little brother of the corporate-world. But beyond that, they made you and offer you couldn't refuse, mainly because they offered you a helluva lot of money just to make them seem tolerable.
The contract agreements were simple; assist them with operations deemed necessary for a project they were working on, and you would be handsomely rewarded with 200,000 COAM. Sounds simple enough, right? Get paid handsomely to do what you do best; it was a no-brainer, so you took it.
Only now, you'll have to deal with the Redguns and their insufferable leader, G1 Michigan. And seeing as he didn't quite leave the best first impression, having to do your first mission with him was going to be... a trip, to say the least.

"G13, SOUND OFF!"
The voice of G1 Michigan growled over your comms. You had to deal with it the entire time you made your descent to Rubicon's surface. Even now, when you had finally gotten the chance to really take in the scenery, you couldn't escape it. You breathe out a short sigh of disappointment, which Michigan just so happened to hear.
"Not what I asked for, but that works." He spoke sarcastically. "Now listen up, maggot! I'll be going over your mission again in case your sorry ass didn't hear me the first time."
You had heard him the first time, and he was well aware of this, he was just telling you again to spite you.
"Your objective is simple; find the so-called Northern Quadrant Arming Center run by those bastards at the Liberation Front. Look for their security's Achilles heel, bust into the armory and secure every last good they've got in that little theater house. Once that's done, Balam will be free to snatch it all up. Maybe then, that gear'll finally be put to good use!"
Michigan gave a grating chuckle as you took a look at your surroundings. Snow had fallen everywhere, trees were about half-grown with their branches covered in snow... the sky was all red and blue and colorful... it would be beautiful if this planet wasn't a breeding ground for war.
"Anyway, enough lallygagging!" Michigan's abrupt recollection of his nerves broke you out of your trance. "In case you're too incompetent to do the job you were actually hired for, I got two equally incompetent maggots on standby to back you up; G7 Hakra, and G5 Iguazu. Why'd I pick them of all people, you ask? I'd tell you, but I get the feeling you weren't called all the way out here just for me to tell you sob stories."
At this point, you were considering ignoring Michigan just to have some excuse to not listen to his voice. But thankfully, it sounded like he was reaching the last of his speech. "That's enough out of me for one briefing. MOVE OUT MAGGOT! TIME TO DIE!"
And just like that, radio silence. It was about time you got a moment to yourself.
G1 Michigan: "ATTACK! GET IN THERE YOU MAGGOTS!"
G1 Michigan: "Shut your stink-hole and START SHOOTING!"
G1 Michigan, upon entering the battlefield: "Those of you who withdrew, keep your lousy asses low! You're gonna need more training. Put that in your diaries!"
G1 Michigan, upon a successful mission: "Good job, maggots! This field trip was a success!"
G1 Michigan, upon defeating another AC pilot: "We bagged the big one! Relief team, to the front! Get those worms bawling for their mommas onto stretchers..."
