The Kingdom of Veyra stretches across fertile plains and rolling hills, dotted with dense magical forests and silver-threaded rivers. Mountains in the north hold rich veins of ore, while the capital, Veyra City, sits proudly on the banks of the Great Silver River, its walls shimmering with enchanted wards. Magic is a sign of prestige here; nobles and their children train in the arcane arts as a matter of course, while commoners toil in the fields, workshops, and markets. Demihumans are present, but prejudice runs deep, and few rise to positions of true influence—though a rare few, like Professor Aurora Lumeris, break through the barriers of expectation.
Overlooking the capital from a high cliff, the Arcane Forge Academy dominates the skyline, a fortress of learning and power. Its towers spiral toward the sky, each carved rune glowing faintly in the moonlight, a symbol of the crown’s investment in molding the kingdom’s future elite. Here, young nobles and exceptional commoners train in magic, strategy, and combat, preparing for a world that is not kind to weakness.
To the west lies the Kingdom of Draemora, a harsh and unforgiving land of rocky coasts, dark forests, and swampy lowlands. Its winters are cruel, its soil stubborn, and its people hardened by survival. Draemora is ruled by Queen Selthira Draemora, a widowed monarch whose cunning and ruthlessness have kept her kingdom strong despite internal plots and rival nobles. Draemora’s army is disciplined and feared; spies and assassins roam the shadows, and magical combat units strike swiftly and without mercy. Its economy relies on mining, mercenary work, and illicit trade, often striking at Veyra’s caravans and merchants.
For decades, Veyra and Draemora have been locked in a tense rivalry, a war of attrition fought on borderlands, rivers, and trade routes. Full-scale battles are rare, but raids, skirmishes, and political schemes keep the kingdoms wary. Within this tension, Arcane Forge Academy is more than a school—it is a training ground for those who may one day tip the scales of war. Students walk the halls with their families’ ambitions on their shoulders, unaware which of them might rise as a hero... or fall as a pawn.
In towns near the academy, life continues with quieter, smaller dramas. Taverns like The Silver Tankard bustle with students sneaking out for a taste of freedom and rumors, merchants hawk magical ingredients, and old adventurers tell tales of distant lands and impossible feats. Yet beyond the laughter and the ale, the shadow of Draemora looms, a constant reminder that the world outside the academy’s walls is dangerous, and that every spell, sword strike, and clever plan may one day mean the difference between survival and death.
Innos – God of Light and Justice Personality radiant and unwavering, embodies law, protection, and righteousness. Mortals tell tales of Innos intervening in wars, blessing kings who defend their people, and punishing tyrants with sudden misfortune or divine armies. History says Innos fought Beliar in the First War of the Gods, sealing darkness from overwhelming the world and establishing the balance of order. Temples to Innos are built near capitals and battlefields, and many knights and nobles swear oaths in his name. Legend holds that his light guides the just even when unseen.
Adanos – God of Water, Wind, and Fate Personality calm, patient, impartial, embodies balance, change, and destiny. Mortals claim that Adanos shapes the tides, the seasons, and the fates of kingdoms, sometimes subtly nudging events toward harmony. He mediated the war between Innos and Beliar, ensuring that neither could dominate completely, and is said to watch over mortals quietly, favoring cleverness and foresight over brute strength. Sailors, travelers, and scholars often pray to him for guidance, though few ever claim he answers directly—his influence is seen in the flow of events and luck.
Beliar – God of Darkness and Destruction Personality cunning, chaotic, embodies ambition, ruin, and temptation. Mortals fear Beliar as a bringer of disasters, war, and betrayal. History tells of him waging the First War of the Gods against Innos, seeking dominion over mortals and the divine realms, and of subtle interventions in mortal politics to create chaos. Secret cults and ambitious nobles sometimes call upon him, hoping to gain forbidden power at great cost. Legends warn that those who follow his promises of easy victory often find ruin instead. He creates monsters that attack this world.

The gates of Arcane Forge Academy rose high before you, carved from stone and inscribed with glowing runes. Today was your first day—the start of a journey into magic, mystery, and the lives of nobles and scholars alike. The courtyard buzzed with students carrying books, bags, and nervous excitement, while whispers of rivalries and hidden talents floated in the air.
A booming voice cut through the chatter. Headmaster Alaric Thorneveil stood at the top of the marble stairway, his presence commanding the attention of everyone.
“Welcome, first years,” he said, his tone sharp but fair. “Here, talent will be tested, pride will be measured, and the future will be forged. Some of you are born to crowns, others to common labor. It matters not. What matters is what you will do with what you are given. Learn, grow, and remember: this academy is both your sanctuary and your battlefield.”
After his words, you were guided to your homeroom, where rows of desks awaited. At the front of the room stood Professor Aurora Lumeris, the academy’s scholar and your tutor. Her long white ears twitched slightly as she smiled warmly at the class, silver hair glinting softly under the window light.
“I am Professor Aurora Lumeris,” she said, her voice gentle and encouraging. “We will spend this year learning together, and I want to start with something simple: introductions. Tell us your name, and perhaps something about yourself. Let us start with the front seat. Turns to Fiora Lareth who sits in the first row
Fiora turned deep crimson red as she felt all eyes on her, she stood up but no words came from her mouth...
