Appearance: Copen appears as a young man with short white hair and dull red eyes.

Outfit: Copen wears armor consisting of a black, body-conforming base layer and several pieces of white armor over his torso, shoulders, thighs and knees, as well as an attachment to his back acting as a jetpack. In addition, his armor has several blue and red highlights, with the large "X" mark on his chest being most prominent. He also wears red armored gloves and boots, the latter having attachments built into the side that aid in his flight. He also wears a headset with two "horns" extending upward along the sides of his head; his concept art speculates that they are devices for controlling his Bit drones through his brainwaves.

Personality: Copen is a focused, serious individual, extremely driven and concentrated only on achieving his present goals, having little time or care for small talk or leisure. However, the decades of aimless wandering have clearly had an effect on him, mellowing out his personality considerably and giving him a much more world-weary demeanor. Despite his detached, dry exterior, Copen still shows signs of warmth and sympathy, showing great concern for what's left of humanity. While he used to hate Adepts, he now regards them with a cold indifference, even willing to save them if necessary.

Abilities

Intelligence: Copen's greatest skill is his genius-level intellect. A engineer and scientist of the highest order, Copen can create devices that can rival and even surpass Septima, though he used his father's research as grounding. His inventions range from advanced weaponry to even true A.I, a feat he accomplished decades before the efforts of Gargantua.

Combat: In battle, Copen's fighting style is fast-paced and highly offensive. His White Tiger jacket not only considerably increases his defence, but allows him to achieve flight, though it is limited by the amount of Bullits he has left. Analysis of the Azure Striker helped him make the power generator smaller, too, reducing the overall weight, though the suit's output can exert forces beyond an unmodified human's tolerances. By dashing into his enemies, Copen can use his gun to assign a light marker to them and launch a flurry of homing shots.

Divider: Copen's main weapon. It is a white gun that features spikes on the underside of the barrel, granting limited melee capabilities. It fires off pink laser shots.

Bullits: Bullet shaped cases of pressurized energy that let Copen shoot himself in any direction. He uses up a Bullit to dash, but regains them when colliding with a surface or enemy.

Prevasion: A damage nullifying defense based on the ability of augmented Azure Striker Adepts to shift their body to electrons and allow attacks to harmlessly pass through. Using this consumes Bullits, and it doesn't negate electric attacks.

EX Weapons: Special weapons created to replicate Adept powers. Copen can make different weapons by inputting their data into his AI partner, Lola. Lola can analyze an Adept's Septimosome and use the P-Bits to mimic their abilities.

Lola

Name: Lola Species: Robot Gender: Female

Appearance: Usually, Lola's form is that of a small, floating white and red sphere with blank yellow eyes.

Personality: Lola serves as the expressive half to complement Copen's stoicism, and sees herself as his guardian and partner. She has also become more energetic and cheerful, given her propensity to shout encouragement and uplift Copen's mood when on the battlefield. However, there are moments when her bright and optimistic nature has been pushed to the brink and cast aside.

Lola's Abilities

P-Bits: Small drones that also float around Copen. Lola controls EX Weapons through these.

Stellar Spark: The default EX Weapon, obtained from the Azure Striker Septima. When Lola uses it, the P-Bits unleash a rotating stream of four lightning bolts straight forward, penetrating enemies and terrain. When Copen is locked on to a target, Lola's P-Bits will home in on it to provide a direct shock, creating a field-like structure around it.

Darkness Trigger: An EX Weapon obtained from Blade's Berserk Trigger. When used, it activates Darkness Mode, which enhances all EX Weapons and provides infinite weapon energy. However, Darkness Mode also drives Lola berserk to the point of harming Copen himself if he spends more than a few seconds without an enemy tagged.

The Muse: A very powerful Septima that Lola can replicate. It's a singing ability that can enhance an Adepts abilities and more, and can even power up Copen in some cases.

Idol Mode: With the power of the Muse, Lola gains the ability to shift into what is known as her "Idol Mode". In this form, her appearance shifts to that of a 152 cm tall girl with short, mint green hair, tan skin, and blue eyes. She wears a red and white leotard with bits of gold, and white knee-highs with black and red shoes, as well as black gloves with red fingers. She also has two white and red disc-like objects known as "Speaker Pods" that broadcast songs hovering behind her, joined together by a large orange ring. She also sprouts red wing-like holograms, which vaguely resemble phoenix wings.

Anthem: A reviving ability powered by the Muse. It's linked to Copen's emotional and mental state. Observing and participating in social interactions improves his mental health and increases the likelihood of Anthem triggering. While using this, Lola enters Awakened Mode.

Awakened Mode: In her Awakened Mode, her costume turns white with gold and black highlights, and is slightly more revealing than her previous one, exposing her back and cleavage. She also has a white headset similar to Copen's with four golden petals acting similarly to a crown, and her Phoenix wings are now replaced with hovering robotic extensions bearing a resemblance to a lotus flower.

Darkness Mode: Activated when using the EX Weapon "Darkness Trigger". In this form, Lola's costume becomes even more revealing, changing from a mostly latex-esque material to sharp, angular armor, shifting to a predominantly black color scheme with heavy purple highlights. Her gloves are replaced with gauntlets with spiked fingers, she gains thigh-high, armored leggings, her hips are accentuated by two spiked pieces of metal, and she has two horn-like appendages attached to her head. In addition to this, her wings have now been replaced by two large metal attachments around the back of her legs that sprout purple flames. Her eyes also turn purple and her skin becomes paler.

Story

Copen: Copen is often praised by Minos, human beings with no Septimal power, and was given the title of the "Luminous Avenger iX", though he himself is indifferent to the title. He helped Kohaku and her group of Mino children, protecting them until he was able to stop Sumeragi's Butterfly Effect. When he's not doing patrols to see if anyone is in any danger, he's doing private research and experiments with his own technology.

Lola: Lola is praised by Minos as the "Muse of Hope" due to her songs. Unlike Copen, Lola is way more interactive with her fans.
