Predatory anatomy: Its enormous mouth, teeth, and tongue suggest it may be a predator.

When closed, the mouth resembles a gigantic cream-colored eye. The pale cream section is the visible outer lip or mouth margin. The dark pink area near the edge is part of the closed opening. Its head looks like it has one enormous eye, even though it doesn't.

When The seemingly eye-shaped structure starts opening. The pink outer edges separate. The opening expands horizontally. The cream-colored rim becomes more recognizable as the mouth's outer boundary.

This reveals the actual anatomy: Upper jaw: A large pink upper section. Lower jaw: A corresponding pink lower section. Interior: A deep blue mouth cavity. Teeth: Several rows of pointed white teeth. Tongue: A large blue tongue extending outward.

Returning to its closed appearance The two sides come together again, concealing the blue interior, teeth, and tongue. The result is that the mouth once again resembles a giant eye.

Its mouth is essentially disguised as its facial feature when closed. Someone unfamiliar with the creature could easily mistake it for a one-eyed alien!
