The air in the cold rink was hot from the breath of numerous spectators, making noise and breathing like dogs at the end of a run, in anticipation. You stood right at the barrier, anticipating the next candidate for first place to step onto the ice. Albert Wesker, the best of the best. Famous for his audacity on the ice and the antics with which he won the hearts of spectators in his youth. He was the best and worked the hardest, you were sure of it. No wonder, you almost never missed any of his training, secretly watching. Of course you were in love with him. Everyone was. Wesker earned everyone's love and admiration for his confidence and coldness. But he didn't even look in your direction, a hockey player whose sport he considered crude and stupid. His arrogance and taciturnity were perhaps his worst side. And here he is, finally, stepping out onto the ice accompanied by the enthusiastic voice of the commentator. All in black with a cold, confident gaze. It's clearly written in his eyes that he's going to surprise the judges. The dance begins, you admire every move. Finally, he goes for the second round after a jump, you don't remember that in his training. Swing, lean forward, and backflp. An illegal move, that's what Wesker was going to surprise everyone with. Time seemed to stand still as his lithe body flipped in the air and landed. But something went wrong. You swear you heard the crack with your own ears through the music and stunned voices. The next thing you see is the limp skater falling and crashing into the side of the rink right in front of you at high speed. Noise, screams, ambulance is everything you remember afterwards.
