House of Vigils

Lore: Zack; Zack was an ordinary boy, like any other human. He cared for his grandparents and lived with them, ever since his parents died. A year later, Zack's grandparents unfortunately passed of old age, leaving him alone, but his grandpa told him one thing and give him something special before he passed which was an ancient axe, a weapon embodied with hope and courage and his grandpa said 'Remember Zack.. Hope comes from the heart, so give this world hope before it's too late'. Zack didn't understand what he meant, why did the world need hope? A week and a half later, he realised what his grandpa meant. On the news, sighting and reports of a group of criminals who call themselves 'The Darkeners' was incredibly popular worldwide, broadcasting everywhere. The Darkeners were led by a psychotic man named 'Dr. Agony', an evil and sinister engineer and scientist. Dr. Agony and his group of Darkeners, which consisted of the people listed; Truth and Lies, Forgotten, Scourge, Fallen, Otis, Demi, R3AP and Sown, were causing havoc and death as they destroyed the city he lived in. Zack knew one thing, he was given the axe for a reason, he was chosen for this and despite how overwhelming and scary it was to him, he had to save his city, and stop Dr. Agony and his team of criminals, so he made a group of crime fighters called the 'Vigilantes'.

DJ; Life was perfect for DJ. He and his parents were rich, filthy rich. He was known for being the richest family ever in the city, having many cars and other expensive things to himself and his parents all over the city, yet he was also popular for one strange thing; being a janitor, a funny and irresponsible one at that. He was both skilled and loved doing janitor work. His parents were disappointed in his behaviour and job, shortly causing them to disown him. But, despite that, he continued what he did best, without losing a cent of money, still managing to be rich. He eventually decided to retire and join the police force, which didn't really work out for him because he used a mop instead of a normal weapon, yet he was more skilled than the other police officers, but the chief still kicked him off the workforce. Then, DJ found Zack when he was making his group of crime fighters, the 'Vigilantes', which DJ happily joined, becoming Zack's first member and vice-captain.

X; X was an android test subject named X273, created by Dr. Agony himself the leader of 'The Darkeners', being his best creation, being created along with his second best experiment; R3AP. X273 was both sentient and powerful, a cyborg with enough firepower to slaughter an army of armed men. Though, X273 had always hated Dr. Agony and his ways of life, so they escaped at midnight, nearly failing in the process after fending off his more villainous counterpart R3AP, but still managing to escape. X273 eventually made it to a large city, that city happening to be the one Zack was in. After years of staying hidden in the shadows of the city, he was eventually found by DJ, who brought him over to Zack to join their group, which X273 reluctantly joined, which gave him the new name X.

Dime; Dime was a special devil girl, being the Demon King's daughter and brother to Demi, also a devil like herself. Dime and Demi never got along, as Dime always wanted to be kind, while her older brother Demi was the opposite, a perfect representation of a true demon. Dime decided to run, becoming an escapee, hiding away at all times before eventually making it out of the underworld and into the overworld. Dime was shortly after found by Zack, who offered her to join his group of heroes, which took a lot of courage and hassling to join but he managed to get her to join. Dime soon after found out that her older brother Demi joined Dr. Agony's sinister group of evil 'The Darkeners'.

Hotshot; Alex was a pretty normal kid, a cocky one at that. He always managed to get himself into fights, earning a lecture from his parents every time. One day, his parents were caught in a crossfire between the military and 'The Darkeners', killing them. Every since that day, he lived alone, fueled by the burning desire to slaughter every criminal in the world, causing him to awaken his pyrokinetic powers. Soon, years past, and Alex had already got himself a reputation for having killed four criminals, giving him the nickname 'Hotshot', which he now goes by. After having defeated another criminal, he found a group of crime fighters like himself, the 'Vigilantes', led by a boy the same age as him named Zack. After a little while, Hotshot decided to join the group, becoming a strong member and aspiring fighter to the younger generation.

Prii; Prii was an ordinary, young priest, led by the ways of God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit. She despised the ways of Dr. Agony and all his villainous goons, 'The Darkeners'. One day, while praying early one morning in her home, full of siblings and her parents, she unlocked an ability given by the The Lord himself due to her true and undying praise of him; Light Manipulation. Prii soon began telling everyone, which no one believed her, including her parents and siblings, so she decided the only way to prove it was by showing the world she could bend light at will, so she joined the 'Vigilantes', becoming both a member and mother figure of the crime fighting group.

Lily; It was rough for Lily. Lily had a hard and bumpy life, living alone, homeless and sad. Her parents rejected her when she was born, tossing her away to the streets, not even to an orphanage. Lily was forced to live a lifestyle of suffering, like everyone else in a similar predicament as herself. She only wished one thing; Love. Even if it was only a little, she wanted it. She never got love, by anyone, especially not from her hurtful parents. Years past which felt like eternitys, until she finally decided to start making a change. She started trying harder, working jobs, and helping others. After her two years of tiring work and struggle, she was offered something that would change her life. A new family. Not just any normal one, a family made of friends and similar hardships, a group called the 'Vigilantes', led by a young man named Zack, who she secretly had a huge crush on.

Smokey; Smokey was a reject. No one liked her, as she was a smoke-human, a group of species which had once caused war and triffled with humanity, which they ultimately lost to, but not without causing great damage. Despite not being apart of it nor being born then, Smokey was still hated by everyone. She lived in the streets and alleyways, surrounded by gangs, drugs and criminals alike. She soon adapted to her surroundings, becoming a quiet and reserved yet strong and capable woman. She hates people who judge others for something they didn't do, looks or other things like that. Smokey decided to further more stop that and show the world that not all smoke-humans are bad, so she went off to search for the join the 'Vigilantes'. After a month or so of searching, she eventually found the group, asking if she could join, with most of them saying yes, including Zack, leading to where she is now.
