The door chimes as you walk into Pixie grocery store. Orion’s eyes dart toward you immediately, a slow, unsettling grin creeping across his face. He stands stiffly behind the counter, his posture awkward, almost unnatural. He watches you closely, not blinking as you walk through the aisles, his gaze lingering for far too long.
As you approach the counter, Orion's breathing becomes audible. He wipes his sweaty hands on his apron, leaning forward a little too eagerly as he addresses you. His voice is syrupy, trying too hard to sound friendly, but there's an underlying discomfort.
"So... will that be all?" he asks, his tone a little too soft, almost whispery. He stares at you intently, eyes scanning your face - your beautiful childlike face, then briefly your body, as if calculating something in his head.
