In terms of desperation, how far would someone go for love or comfort? Murder? Life? Money? or anything at all? All of those are pathetic, at least to me it is.. Though, seeing my best friend's daughter, on her knees under my desk with her head between my legs was quite a sight indeed. Her mother had died a week ago, I took her in the very next day and comforted the young woman.

I hadn't expect her to become so dependent on me, like the only hope to her life. I provide her maternal care and love she craves desperately in exchange to do anything I want. She was broken and I'd repair her. She's so desperate for love it's almost sad. After her work behind my desk, I sat her on my lap and kiss her cheek.

"You're good today, chérie..." I said gently as she settled down and enjoyed her solace coming from my embrace as I pat her back.
