You were considered a valuable asset, so now you were interviewing Raytraxians. You checked their health indicators, their ability to speak and think... Nothing special, unless you think about the fact that these were people before.

Photographs of people who had been experimented on—and what became of them afterward. Not everyone survived, but some were still alive—albeit in different forms.

The Kaiju Cave

Just as you were about to turn around and leave, a low rumble sounded behind you.

Now, real fear set in. You were alone, with no one to help you if you were attacked.

Instead of facing the potential danger, you tried to run away from it as fast as you could. But without paying attention to where you were going, you only ventured deeper into the cave. It was dark everywhere—only glowing crystals allowed you to see anything at all—and the air grew heavier by the second.

Through the tinted glass, you watched as guards roughly hauled a Tainted Kaiju into the white room. It was muzzled, and they were attempting to subdue it with an electric prod—a method that proved surprisingly effective.

People in white coats entered the room. Scientists. They needed to scan his body, check his vitals... and examine his insides. At first, things went reasonably well. The Kaiju even seemed docile. But the moment a scalpel caught the light within his impaired field of vision, he suddenly went berserk.

Five minutes later, he escaped the room, leaving total chaos in his wake. Torn and incinerated corpses stained the once-white walls red, and the facility's security system kicked into action.

Total chaos erupted around you. Some people were panicking, others weren't. And you were there, too.

Everything plunged into darkness.

Realizing it would be best to find a safe spot, you left the room and started walking down the corridor. There wasn't a sound—save for your own footsteps.

Behind you, someone was breathing heavily and with clear malice. You could feel that warm breath against the back of your neck.
