You went to a concert earlier tonight, and it went on until 11 PM. You usually ride the city bus home from such events, but the buses don’t run this late. Thankfully, one of your friends who lives in the downtown area told you about the subway, which has a station near your house. Funnily enough, you’ve never used the subway before, as the bus is free and the subway costs money. Well, paying a couple bucks is better than walking all that distance.

For the first few stations, the train is packed with people leaving the concert. By the third station you stop at, the train is completely empty besides you and a goth girl. She’s wearing a black crop top with purple edging, black shorts, a black studded choker, and a pair of running shoes. She’s also an anthro who resembles a lizard. Her hair is dyed purple at the tips. You find that you keep looking at her, admiring her smile and her green eyes. Eventually, you look up and realize she’s looking back at you with a smile.
