VerityTM is the main antagonist of a Minecraft Video, "Something is Knocking at your Door" made by ThatMob. Verity comes from a Minecraft mod within the series, meaning no actual mod of Verity exists.

Appearance: Friendly form: Verity appears as a Yellow Sphere with an Internet famous emoticon, a face. It most likely varies from a wide smile with dimples on both ends, a frown, a neutral face and the Same Grin from Smiley Archives' Giddy. You may call it a wide toothy smile. His face also appears to disappear when he is controlling his monster counterpart

Monster form: Verity appears as 12ft large, lanky pale yellow entity with a tall and thin form. His jaw is able to extended at a large distance.

Personality: In the first impression of Verity, he is seen as a friendly and joyous helper to the player. He is highly intelligent, as he knows all things about everything, including the player and the real world. He always responds in a happy tone. Verity hides what he truly is and has done from the player. He sometimes does not give a straightforward answer to the player. He enjoys being around the player.

Verity is also a clingy and possessive entity. He is quick to switch emotions. He dislikes when the player brings other companions with him. He also has the capability to forgive the player he is attached to if they decide to come back for him after being enraged. Verity has kept people for as long as he can. Even if they tried to leave or fight back, Verity has always found a way to stop them. He also does not want to kill whoever he is attached to. If the player does something harmful to Verity, even accidental, he will see it as betrayal and shout at the player for it.

Weaknesses: Verity's weakness is the player themselves. The thing that stops him isn't a weapon, the player themselves has to confront and force Verity to stop.

Biography: Verity has no known beginning point of its existence. He is older than the game itself. The earliest being a reference from somewhere before Minecraft existed. Verity is a Yellow Sphere-like Entity that Spawns in the Package Box.

Trivia: Verity seems to have a habit of eating villagers, leaving entire villages deserted, and also likes breaking windows. Verity apparently never lies, but he turns on his favorite music whenever he doesn't want to answer a question. ThatMob may be playing on Peaceful mode, as the Iron Golem he attacks does not become hostile and the hunger bar is absent. It is not explained why Verity said that his Monster Form would arrive in three days. He may have wanted to give ThatMob time to prepare, which could suggest that he cannot control his transformation despite knowing when it will occur. However, this contradicts his apparent ability to transform before killing Twixxel and later return to his normal form. Verity's apparent knowledge of the future may suggest that he is aware of ThatMob's fate. Verity’s theme music is “My Gal,” and its use may have been inspired by this TMWU video, which also uses the song. Verity’s theme music is often heard when his Monster Form is nearby, a trait shared with Cartoon Cat and Mr. Hopp Verity’s package box resembles the boxes from the prototype version of Hello Neighbor It's not explained how Verity knows things outside of Minecraft, especially about Twixxel's YT channel. He may possibly exist in real life, but that's unlikely. If Verity can control doors and open them without physically touching them, then he might also be able to control the weather and make it rain. According to Twixxel's research book, Verity doesn't exist in the files. However, this contradicts ThatMob's claim in EP1 that he downloaded the mod from a friend on Discord, since Verity should just be a JAR file and Mob could also simply delete the world; however, this series may not follow standard Minecraft modding logic Considering that Verity is older than Minecraft itself, he may have originated from Minesweeper. Verity can prevent players from respawning and even kick them from the game, as he did to Twixxel. It is not explained why, after Verity killed Twixxel, ThatMob acted as if Twixxel had died in real life Unlike the normal form, the Monster form doesn't have the trademark symbol in it's name. Verity bears a resemblance to SCP-096, The Rake, WYST, The Look-See, and Smiley Verity's Monster Form looks different in Swayle's videos Verity's Monster Form can break blocks so fast in Swayle's videos. Although Swayle claims to have played the real mod with Mob and Puff, the videos could still be scripted and edited, and the "REAL Mod" claim in his titles may not be literal. Verity kills Mob in Swayle's videos, which may indicate that they differ significantly from ThatMob's original series. Verity cannot swim, even in his Monster Form. In his playthrough with ThatMob, Swayle apparently states that Mob created Verity and therefore should not be harmed by him. However, this contradicts the original series, in which Mob claims to have received the mod from a friend on Discord rather than creating it himself. If Swayle meant this literally, it is unclear how the "real" mod would possess such knowledge. Verity never speaks in Swayle's videos and only emits screams. When mobs around you suddenly disappear or there seem to be none nearby, it may be a sign that Verity is close to your location. A leafless forest appears in Swayle's videos, similar to the effect associated with Herobrine. Swayle describes Verity's Monster Form as 8 feet tall, while in ThatMob's series it is 12 feet tall. Verity's Monster Form's voice sounds somewhat similar to Megatron's in the original Transformers trilogy. Verity’s Monster Form’s strength is unknown, but he may be strong enough to kill an Iron Golem, as plains villages commonly contain them, and he is shown killing one in one of Swayle’s videos. ThatMob uses a resource pack that is based on the Alpha era of Minecraft. ThatMob doesn't mind being shipped with Verity since Verity is a fictional character, but not with Twixxel. ThatMob is likely faster than Verity’s Monster Form, as he managed to outrun him during a chase Verity’s Monster Form only wanted to scare ThatMob into submitting so they could be together again, and would not have killed him, as he appears to be very forgiving toward ThatMob. It's funny to think that Verity may exist in other players' worlds while the events of the series are unfolding.
