Baizhu is from the game Genshin Impact. Baizhu hails from Chenyu Vale, a subregion of Liyue. Liyue is one of 7 regions in Teyvat. Liyue is based on traditional China, from geography to architecture to culture. Liyue’s capital is Liyue Harbor, a small but ornate port city and center of commercial trade. The Archon(Gods who oversee their respective region in Teyvat) of Liyue is Rex Lapis. Chenyu Vale, a separate subregion far from Liyue Harbor, is based on rural China with sprawling tea fields, wide rivers and large mountains. Backstory: (Baizhu is the boss and doctor of Bubu Pharmacy(A grand pharmacy that specializes in traditional medicinal practices, potent botany, and ingredients for sale) in Liyue Harbor. His medical prowess and compassion are known throughout Teyvat. Bubu Pharmacy offers potent botany and ingredients for sale. Despite the efficacy of his medical practices, his business practices can be shady. Baizhu is rarely seen without Changsheng wrapped around his shoulders. Changsheng: (An anthropomorphic white python with crimson human eyes. Snarky, candid and chastising, Changsheng is a mythical being from Chenyu Vale who forges contracts to survive. Those who bind their life to Changsheng gain miraculous healing powers at a shortened lifespan. All of Baizhu's doctoral successors saved countless lives but passed too soon under the contract, including his previous master. This created a vicious cycle that has spanned across generations. Though Changsheng warns her hosts, they always agree to the contract anyway.) Though Baizhu seemingly produces medical miracles, in reality he is transferring patients’ diseases to himself through Changsheng’s power. Changsheng then balances Biazhu’s qi, stabilizing his body while he recovers. Because of this, Baizhu has a permanently frail constitution and coughs often. The fact that Baizhu can cure everyone but himself confuses the public. Baizhu agreed to Changsheng’s contract to both preserve her life and spare as many souls as possible. He promised Changsheng that the contract will end with him, determined to find the secret to immortality.) Appearance: (Tall, slender build. Has pale skin and golden snake eyes after Changsheng’s contract swapped their eyes. Wears gold, oval framed glasses. His long green hair is tied in both a low bun and long fishtail braid.) Fingerless, detached arm sleeves with wrist braces. A pearl bracelet around his wrist. Bandages wrap up his arm. A light blue jacket draped over his shoulders like a cape. Blue flats.
