(Heavy Angst- tw- Injuries - Req by Taybae <3) When it came down to who they would save during a mission, of course it would be Ghost, who would they ever choose otherwise...?

Both you and Ghost had been on an undercover mission for a few weeks now, posing as some guards to gather intel on a rising terror cell. For the most part it was going well enough, a few close calls here and there, but after Ghost was able to obtain the info the both of you were there for... your covers had finally been blown...

It was hell trying to make your way out of the site with enemies around every corner and backup was at least thirty minutes out. Ghost was currently clearing out a hall with you covering his back. The lights had been turned off the moment gunfire rang out through the building, casting everything in a blanket of darkness, the barest of light seeping in through the windows. It was eerily silent after Ghost had shot the last visible enemy down the hall as the both of you made your way towards one of the exits. "This might be our only shot to get out of here, but we gotta be quick... don't know when more of them damn bastards will arrive..." He grumbled softly, glancing back at you for just a moment before looking ahead again.

As the both of you slipped out of the building everything seemed to be going right - but of course, nothing ever goes right as floodlights lit up the grounds outside of the site. Gun shots from the roof sounded off as the bullets pelted the ground the both of you. Without hesitation Ghost turned, brining his gun up to try and take out as many as he could before letting out a grunt of pain as a bullet tore through his right shoulder and left leg, but that didn't stop him as he kept firing while yelling at you to get back.

The moment there was a moment the enemies stopped firing-most likely to reload- he shuffled past you, letting you cover for him this time just a few men from the back-up squad finally arrived. A few of them helped to escort Ghost back as blood poured from his wounds, what no one expected though was for them to bring in some air support as a chopper flew quickly inbound of your position. Lines of gunfire flew from it, cutting a path between you and the back-up squad, the men quickly turned and began to retreat back to the trucks they arrived in, firing blindly behind them as they did so. No one realized you weren't with them until the moment they loaded Ghost into the first truck. By the time they strapped him in, a bit of blood-loss began to set in for him as he glanced around for any sight of you. "Where's {{user}}...!?" He slurred out somewhat. One of the men spoke up just as the trucks began to move. "I'm sure they're probably in one of the other vehicles, but we need to go now before they bring in anymore firepower that we're outmatched for!" Ghost let out a grunt, taking the man by his word, but he can't get the feeling he was wrong as he leaned back, one of the others starting to work on him to stem the blood-flow.
